The person investing their time and money (education) into what
they believe to be a truth will find it difficult to accept the
possibility of it being wrong. For sixteen hundred plus years a
system of belief "The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy
Ghost is God" has been taught and enforced to the point where the
possibility of it being wrong is so freighting to them still
believing it; Athanasius' paradox of his three Gods not being three
Gods but one, "Trinity," God. A person can interpret the
Anthanasian Creed (325-AD) to say, mean, what ever they like, the
author himself clearly established that unless you believe Jesus is
God "you cannot be saved," in it.
