World War II action drama. Two months before the events of D-Day in August 1944, a team of British and American soldiers are deployed behind enemy lines in an attempt to recover information from a German officer that could prelude an Allied victory and bring a swift end to the war. But as their plans go awry the team are forced to retreat back to the front with the stolen information. With tensions rising within the group and a German battalion pursuing them, the troops must unite in a race for their survival.

British action thriller from film-maker Paul Tanter. When terrorists kidnap the prime minister's daughter and hold her hostage in a 15-storey car park, a team of SAS soldiers go on a mission to save her. They infiltrate the building, which has been rigged with explosive devices, tackling one floor at a time. Will they be able to rescue the hostage and make it out alive?

Included in the program of The Fourth International Congress of Human Genetics, held in Paris on September -ll, 1971, was a Workshop of Genetic Distance. This session, or ganized by Newton E. Morton, included several papers anrl a discussion under the general chairmanship of James F. Crow. Many of the participants and members of the audience asled at the time that the papers be printed so as to have a per manent record. It has not been practical to record the dis cussion, but all the papers originally presented are includ ed in this volume. The idea behind the Workshop was to take advantage of the large number of people who would be attending the Con gress and bring together those who were interested in human population structure and measures of genetic distance. The emphasis was on methodology; the number of metbods almost equals the number of persons working in the field. The Workshop offered an opportunity to present and discuss the various procedures and review their accomplishments. The aim has been to have these papers either present the methods themselves, or give references as to where they can be found."

Housesteads is the most popular site on Hadrian's Wall, with its well-excavated remains bringing us closer to the 800 men who garrisoned the fort at any one time. As James Crow charts the development and growth of the fort, as well as the enclosures and features outside its walls, he discusses the builders and occupants, the civilian population, and the history of its excavation during the last two centuries. This study is supported throughout with plans and photographs of the fort, artifacts, inscriptions, and excavators.
