"The Warrior Code" is a mindset training guide coded in poem. It
started as a very successful mindset training program to accompany
my fitness brand: Warrior Within Fitness, and overtime evolved into
a persona of its own. The underlying message is one that I believe
society is very ready to hear. it is a spiritually uplifting
message that changes the way its readers will view everything in
their life. The Warrior Code speaks of the powers we have when we
focus on our dreams and follow our passions. This ground breaking
publication will open its readers eyes to how their own perceptions
effect their lives and how the decisions they make everyday shape
who they become. I truly believe this book to be highly marketable,
and eager await the ability to spread its message as widely as
possible Attached you will find two brief articles. One explaining
why I have chosen rhyme to deliver the books message, and the other
explaining how ones mindset writes ones destiny.

I suffered from bipolar for 5 years and 8 months. I don't suffer
from it anymore. I have experienced the death of family members and
I had to watch my loved ones battling cancer. Experiencing bipolar
was worse. Bipolar was 50 times worse than any other tragedy I have
ever experienced. And what's worse is that it was completely
invisible. No one knew I had it. I didn't even know I had it. How
can a person have a mental illness for years and his or her closest
friends can't tell? How can somebody be mentally ill and they don't
even know? What is it like to have bipolar? This book is my
personal account of my illness. I will tell you how I got it, how
it affected my life, what I tried to do to combat it, and how I
beat it.

Jean Jacques Rousseau is one of the most important and influential
thinkers of the Enlightenment period and, indeed, of the whole
history of philosophy. His political theory heavily influenced the
French Revolution, development of socialist theory and the growth
of nationalism. Clearly and thematically structured, covering all
Rousseau's key works, Starting with Rousseau leads the reader
through a thorough overview of the development of Rousseau's
thought, resulting in a more thorough understanding of the roots of
his philosophical concerns. Offering coverage of the full range of
Rousseau's ideas, the book firmly sets his work in the context of
the Enlightenment and explores his contributions to social theory,
theories of human nature, philosophy of education, political
philosophy and autobiography. Crucially the book introduces the
major thinkers and events that proved influential in the
development of Rousseau's thought. This is the ideal introduction
for anyone coming to the work of this hugely important thinker for
the first time.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau is an enigmatic figure in many ways. There is
much debate about whether he was an advocate of the Enlightenment
project or a critic of it. Sometimes Rousseau seems to be arguing
against traditional values and hierarchies. But elsewhere he seems
to be an enemy of progress altogether. This book explains
Rousseau's true place in the Enlightenment by paying particular
attention to his account of virtue. Virtue ethics is one of the
main branches in moral philosophy, and its most famous advocate is
Aristotle. Many recent philosophers have tried to revive virtue
ethics, most notably Alasdair MacIntyre in his 1984 book, After
Virtue. MacIntyre argues that the Enlightenment project was doomed
to fail precisely because Enlightenment philosophers had discarded
Aristotle. They do this by rejecting Aristotle's claim that all
things are, by nature, directed towards some proper end. The
enlightenment figures whom MacIntyre discusses at length in his
critique are Hume, Kant, and Kierkegaard. And while Rousseau is
mentioned as an Enlightenment thinker, very little attention is
paid to him. This book puts Rousseau's ethics into historical
perspective, showing that Rousseau shares important characteristics
with his contemporaries as well as with the tradition of Aristotle.
The dichotomy set up by MacIntyre and others between the ethics of
the ancient tradition and that of the Enlightenment is
oversimplified. By taking a serious look at Rousseau's ethics, we
can see that he forms a bridge between these two rich traditions in
the history of Western philosophy.
This is a new introduction to Rousseau, guiding the student through
the key concepts of his work by examining the overall development
of his ideas. Jean Jacques Rousseau is one of the most important

offers clear, concise and accessible introductions to the key
thinkers in philosophy. The books explore and illuminate the roots
of each philosopher's work and ideas, leading readers to a thorough
understanding of the key influences and philosophical foundations
from which his or her thought developed. Ideal for first-year
students starting out in philosophy, the series will serve as the
ideal companion to study of this fascinating subject.
