Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not

This book confronts humanity with God's ID (Intelligent Design) of
the universe and the design of man, himself. The confirmation is
the creation. The universe is the proof of the truth. The Bible is
the revelatory declaration. Jesus Christ is the manifestation. Man
cannot truthfully and successfully deny the overwhelming reality of
God without plunging himself into a fantasy world of perplexing
confusion and insanity. The graphics of law, art, religion and
science are used to help man in the late date of the 21st Century
to get beyond his irrational and infantile denial of God in the
face of invincible evidence and infallible proof. Man's denial of
God and rebellion against God is a vain self pride and irrational
denial of the foundation of his own existence. In view of
humanity's escalating lethal cultural crises, can the world afford
the anti-God, anti-Christ, anti-Bible and anti-truth spirits in a
GPS laden globalized nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction
world?
This book is about the vital leadership role that true religion
must play in society in order to be relevant for the threatening
challenges and in order to be true to the mission and the high
calling of God in Christ in this 21st Century. To highlight this
challenge, the author brings forth a most difficult and bothersome
question that has evolved out of the dynamic mix of cultural
diversity in, That question is: How can the Christian Americans
hold on to their patriotism for America and their loyalty to Jesus
Christ with uncompromising conviction, and yet, be inclusive of the
growing influx of cultural diversity and religious pluralism in a
high technological society? This book provides the theological
foundation for validating the Christian and American heritage in
America; and how this unique heritage must learn how to relate,
redemptively, to cultural diversity, ecumenism, universalism and
the world. The enlightening principles and practice of public
theology offer a ray of light and a star of hope out of the
darkness.

It is increasingly important to define what constitutes the unique
character of our neighbourhoods, in order to identify what we value
and should protect, to pinpoint areas for improvement and places
which could be enhanced through sensitive change. But how do we
define 'character' or a 'sense of place'? How do we appraise the
setting and site of a development area, in order that the essential
character is retained and reflected in the design of new
development? How can these qualities be communicated to decision
makers and involve communities? Characterising Neighbourhoods
provides an accessible and richly illustrated guide to the
practical methods of appraising neighbourhoods which are precise,
well informed and engaging. It demonstrates how characterisation is
used as an evidence base for the planning and management of
neighbourhoods and urban areas. The core focus is on a proven
characterisation method developed and used by the authors and used
by community groups, schools, planning and urban design students
and professionals. It creates a common language used by these
groups in evaluating places. This guide provides a wealth of
supporting information, including; briefing on the recognition of
local architectural styles, periods and materials, detecting the
influence of historic street layouts and property boundaries,
townscape concepts such as scale and enclosure, and topographical
characteristics. Characterising Neighbourhoods is a valuable
resource for practicing planners, urban designers and environmental
professionals as well as students in these subjects.

They each had their reasons for being a soldier.
They each had their illusions. Goodrich came from Harvard. Snake got the tattoo — Death Before Dishonor — before he got the uniform. And Hodges was haunted by the ghosts of family heroes.
They were three young men from different worlds plunged into a white-hot, murderous realm of jungle warfare as it was fought by one Marine platoon in the An Hoa Basin, 1969. They had no way of knowing what awaited them. Nothing could have prepared them for the madness to come. And in the heat and horror of battle they took on new identities, took on each other, and were each reborn in fields of fire....
Fields of Fire is James Webb’s classic, searing novel of the Vietnam War, a novel of poetic power, razor-sharp observation, and agonizing human truths seen through the prism of nonstop combat. Weaving together a cast of vivid characters, Fields of Fire captures the journey of unformed men through a man-made hell — until each man finds his fate.
