V jednotlivych astiach prace sa autorka venuje kodam a problemom, ktore alkoholizmus sposobuje jednotlivcovi, rodine i spolo nosti. Najva iu pozornos venuje fenomenu rodinnej choroby spoluzavislosti. Primarnou cie ovou skupinou su deti, ktorych problemy suvisiace s alkoholizmom rodi a, maju roznorode podoby. Cie om bakalarskej prace je zisti, o znamena pre dospele die a alkoholika by jeho die a om, analyzova spolo ne a diferencovane znaky deti alkoholikov a zisti mo ne dosledky pre ivot v dospelosti. Prieskumnu vzorku tvorilo pa dospelych u astnikov, ktori vyrastali s otcom alkoholikom. Vysledky potvrdili, e deti rodi ov zavislych od alkoholu, nepre ivaju astne detstvo a pocity, ktore charakterizuju ich pre ivanie, je strach, sklamanie a hanba, pri om ich boles spravidla pretrvava aj v dospelosti. Napriek tomu sa paradoxne v dospelosti spravaju ako ich rodi ia a dostavaju sa do podobnych situacii, ako v detstve. Prieskum bol realizovany pomocou narativneho rozhovoru, ktory umo nil autorke ziska bohate udaje a ziska novy uhol poh adu na deti alkoholikov. Autorka popisuje zistene posolstva, ktore si deti alkoholikov prina aju do dospelosti a v diskusii komparuje vysledky prieskumu s vysledkami tudii inych autorov.
