El presente libro trata acerca de la aplicacion de los Modelos Ocultos de Markov o HMM (del ingles Hidden Markov Models) al reconocimiento de caracteristicas musicales. Los modelos ocultos de Markov se utilizan como tecnologia preferente en el reconocimiento de voz. Este trabajo trata sobre la adaptacion de dicha tecnologia al reconocimiento de la musica.
