The year is 1932, the place is India, and the people are romanticised, politicised and radicalised. Indian Summers tells a sweeping saga, stories of love, secrets, promises made and broken, and tensions that simmer in the hot, feverish days and nights of India - an India populated by freedom fighters, star-crossed lovers, political spies, artists, orphans, expats, the rich and the poor.
