This book describes novel approaches designed to enhance the professional training of physics teachers, and explores innovations in the teaching and learning of physics in the classroom and laboratory. It features selected contributions from the International Research Group on Physics Teaching (GIREP) and Multimedia in Physics Teaching and Learning (MPTL) Conference, held in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain, in July 2018, which brought together two communities: researchers in physics education and physics teachers. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es crear un puente entre la escuela y los contextos no formales de aprendizaje, en concreto mejorar el aprendizaje de las ciencias integrando en la programacion de aula una visita a un centro interactivo de ciencia. Tras investigar las creencias y comportamientos del profesorado se comprobo que en general acudian al centro sin preparar actividades especificas para relacionar el curriculum del aula con las exhibiciones del museo. Como animar al profesorado a integrar la visita al museo en la programacion del curso? Teniendo en cuenta nuestro contexto profesional, decidimos reorientar la pregunta: Que cambiaremos en la formacion inicial de los maestros y maestras para que realicen visitas a museos de acuerdo con las recomendaciones de la investigacion? Para dar respuesta a esa cuestion desarrollamos un marco teorico -"Visitas centradas en el aprendizaje"-, y disenamos una unidad didactica que se implemento en el aula. Los resultados fueron altamente satisfactorios y las implicaciones didacticas para la formacion inicial del profesorado son basicas, ya que abren un camino sencillo para integrar las salidas del aula dentro de la programacion."
