Das didaktisch hervorragend konzipierte und bewahrte Lehrbuch vermittelt eine Einfuhrung in die Grundlagen der Signal- und Systemtheorie einschliesslich stochastischer Methoden (Teil A), sowie der Prinzipien der Informationsubertragung (Teil B). Neu in der 12. Auflage sind eine Reihe von Aktualisierungen und Erganzungen in Teil B.
