Facilities for rabid alphas?
Saylor Callahan thought they were a joke. A myth someone made up to
scare alphas into behaving...until she found herself stolen away and
dumped in one.
Feral alphas who spend time in close contact with omega pheromones gain
back cognitive functioning pretty quickly, but rabid alphas have to
bite a scent matched omega to attain that same clarity.
Some governments and organized crime operations have assets they aren't
willing to lose. After all, they can put their mercenaries back to work
if they can be brought back from the brink.
As the daughter of a US Senator, Saylor knows she has rights. Too bad
the facility doesn't seem to care. When faced with the reality of her
situation, she can recognize that she won't be able to escape. Rather
than allowing herself to be claimed by just anyone, she makes a deal
with the most unhinged inmate she comes across.
Meanwhile, her security team is desperately searching for ways to save
her, and they aren't above getting themselves institutionalized for a
chance to get her back.
Will they make it in time?
No Escape is written in first person multi-POV. It's set in the same
world as Whatever it Takes. They can be read independently of one
another or together for a fuller world. No cheating, no choosing, and
the men always fall first. This is part one of a duet and will end on a
cliffhanger. Part two is complete and will be rapid released one month
after part one.
Emerson Parker is exhausted. She spends her days chasing around her
high energy, half-shifter toddler and her nights working full-time
trying to make ends meet.
...oh, and add in the absolute cluster of a situation her ex dumped in
her lap on his way out?
Well, that's just icing on the cake.
With virtually no options left, Emerson heads for Haven, a sanctuary
city for monsters and humans alike. Survival means taking a job at The
Monster's Den - a club that caters to the inhuman residents of her new
home.
But freedom comes with complications of its own: delusional monsters
dead set on inserting themselves into her life and her bed.
With the North American Alpha hot on her heels and monsters standing in
his way...
Will it be enough to keep Emerson and her daughter safe?
Rabid alpha facilities are real, and the truth of the matter is darker
than Saylor ever could have imagined.
She's safe enough since omegas are coveted for their ability to bring a
rabid alpha back from the brink, but danger is everywhere, and it's no
longer just her she has to worry about.
The added complication of Leo and Shaw getting themselves
institutionalized for a chance at getting her back makes everything
even more tangled and messy.
The other inmates don't seem to want to play by the rules, and time is
ticking down on Saylor’s proverbial clock. Drastic choices must be made
if they're all going to survive the facility in one piece.
This is part two of the duet and has a happy ending. It's written in
first person multi-POV. No cheating, no choosing, and the men always
fall first.
Not all alphas are good men.
Charlie learned that lesson the hard way. After losing her daughter's
father in a senseless act of violence she hasn't figured out how to
move on. She's trapped in a cycle of guilt and misery. It makes her the
perfect target for a man who only wants to control her and exploit her
impulses.
A chance introduction at a neighbor's barbecue changes everything.
The three owners of The Omega Exchange's Colorado location are as
enamored by Charlie's daughter as they are the sad-eyed omega.
Determined to help her escape, they offer her the opportunity to be
whisked away to safety. Charlie doesn't hesitate, but danger follows.
It appears the past isn't letting go without a fight.
Lacey
I’m struggling to get into the holiday spirit. Winter is normally my
favorite season, but something isn’t clicking this year. With my mom
and her new husbands away for the holidays, I’m all on my own. Well, I
could seek out Wilder, the annoyingly hot stepbrother I gained when my
mom got married, but that’s a last resort kind of option.
My job at the scent clinic keeps me busy enough, anyway.
Feral alphas need contact with omega pheromones to prevent the decay
from progressing to the point they go rabid, and I love being able to
help. I spend my shifts snuggling with alphas society considers
dangerous, but most of them are giant softies once I get to know them.
Or that’s what I believe right up until a chance interaction after a
trip to the Christmas market proves there’s more to the men in my life
than I ever realized.
Now I’m tangled up in mafia family politics and reconsidering how nice
drinking hot cocoa, wearing holiday-themed pajamas, and binge watching
Christmas movies would be.
