Dickens's classic story of the French Revolution. While the turmoil
of the Revolution rages around them, the lives of the members of
the Evremonde family are profoundly affected by the actions of one
man - Sydney Carton. Classics Illustrated tells this wonderful tale
in colourful comic strip form, offering an excellent introduction
for younger readers. This edition also includes theme discussions
and study questions, which can be used both in the classroom and at
home to further engage the reader in the story.

Ben-Hur is one of the best selling books of all times. This
poignant novel intertwines the life stories of a Jewish charioteer
named Judah Ben-Hur and Jesus Christ. It explores the themes of
betrayal and redemption. Ben-Hur's family is wrongly accused and
convicted of treason during the time of Christ. Ben-Hur fights to
clear his family's name and is ultimately inspired by the rise of
Jesus Christ and his message. A powerful, compelling novel.
Joe Orlando was a mainstay at EC, especially on science fiction,
and this collects 23 of his best sci-fi stories. All of them, most
scripted by Al Feldstein, serve up classic O. Henry-style endings,
such as 'I, Robot, ' and 'Fallen Idol'. The title story is one of
EC's most famous, with its blunt anti-racism message. When it was
printed during the era of the Comics Code, publisher Bill Gaines
and Feldstein had to fight to keep the story's final panel 'reveal'
(and thus its whole point) intact
