Noirish thriller about a man who enters into a dangerous extra-marital affair, with deadly consequences. When Dave Ford (Matt Long) returns to his home town to attend his father's funeral, he is reunited with old friends Emily (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and Brian Nicholson (Luke Mably), who are now married and very wealthy. When Emily and Brian offer to help Dave restore his father's house, the old friends instantly pick up where they left off years ago. But when Emily and Brian's relationship suddenly turns violent, Emily runs to Dave for protection from her abusive husband. Despite warnings that Emily may not be who she appears to be, Dave is unable to resist his feelings towards her and the two begin an affair.
