Originally released in the cinema as a portrait of early 1980s Britain, this fictionalized documentary about The Clash was disowned by the band after it was made and declared 'disgusting' by The Daily Mail. It is partly a study of the band and partly a story about a fictional fan, Ray Gange, who attends the band's concerts and becomes involved in the oppositional political culture of the day, joining in political demonstrations and attending the 'Rock Against Racism' tour. Over the course of the film, Ray follow the band to a number of different gigs and sees them perform such songs as 'White Riot', 'Tommy Gun' and 'London's Burning'.

Hitman Martin Blank's (John Cusack) day goes from bad to worse when he messes up his latest job due to the intervention of his rival, Grocer (Dan Aykroyd). To make amends with his client, Martin has to travel to Grosse Pointe and take out a Federal witness. This trip coincides with his high school reunion, so Martin meets up with his former sweetheart Debi (Minnie Driver), unaware that he is being tailed by two government agents and Felix, another rival assassin who is out for his blood.

When his wife dies, Walker decides to leave a promising career in politics behind and, backed by banking magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt, travels to Nicaragua to make it safe for Vanderbilt's steamships. However, once there, Walker sets himself up as Nicaragua's president; until the nation decides they no longer want to be ruled by a mad 'gringo'.

Tribute concert for the late Joe Strummer, frontman with The Clash, who died in 2002. The memorial was organised by Strummer's family and friends, and includes such musical acts as Hellride, The Wilderness Years, Love and Rockets and La Plebe.
