Although written in 1684 ands in the style of the day, this classic volume will be of interest to all who recognize the imperative of winning souls for Christ. Here is a fine biblical exposition of Luke 19:41,42 (Jesus weeping over Jerusalem), with appropriate application that is as suitable today as when Howe wrote it. TIMOTHY DWIGHT, DD, LL.D., grandson of Jonathan Edwards the elder, was born at Northampton, Massachusetts, May 14, 1752, and was graduated at Yale College at a very early age in 1769.
