Another Disney animated adventure for Tinker Bell and her fairy
friends. When Tinker Bell (voiced by Mae Whitman) ventures with her
friends into the mysterious Winter Woods, she meets the frost fairy
Periwinkle (Lucy Hale), and discovers the magical Secret of the
Fairy Wings. The film also features the voice talents of Anjelica
Huston, Timothy Dalton and Lucy Liu.
Collection of four comedies following the Griswold family's
vacations. In 'National Lampoon's Vacation' (1983), the West Coast
Wally World theme park is the Griswold's holiday destination, and
they intend to drive there cross-country all the way from their
Chicago home. Father Clark (Chevy Chase) has planned the trip down
to its last detail, but the trouble begins as soon as they hit the
road. In 'National Lampoon's European Vacation' (1985), the family
win a holiday to Europe. Contrary to their expectations, however,
it is not a luxurious, all-expenses-paid kind of trip, but rather a
cut-price, economy deal which takes them to some of the Old World's
seedier locations. Of course, it's not long before they are caught
up in all manner of misadventures. In 'National Lampoon's Christmas
Vacation' (1989), the Griswolds decide to spend the Christmas
season at home. Needless to say, it is not as quiet as they had
planned. Finally, in 'Vegas Vacation' (1997), the clan head for the
gleaming lights of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Clark is soon
transformed into a compulsive gambler, daughter Audrey (Marisol
Nichols) becomes an exotic dancer and son Rusty (Ethan Embry)
begins posing as a suave high roller.
Disney triple bill following the adventures of young orphan Lilo
(voice of Daveigh Chase) and her alien friend, Stitch (Chris
Sanders). In 'Lilo and Stitch' (2002) Lilo lives with her sister,
Nani (Tia Carrere), in the beautiful surroundings of Hawaii. One
day Lilo meets a strange alien who she decides to name Stitch and
take home as her pet. Stitch at first causes trouble by destroying
everything he can lay his hands on, but as time passes he becomes
accustomed to the Hawaiian ways and is accepted as a regular part
of the family. However, with representatives of Stitch's home
planet following hot on his heels, it is unclear how long this
happy situation can last. In 'Lilo and Stitch 2' (2005) Stitch is
helping Lilo (Dakota Fanning) prepare for the big island hula
contest. However, when Stitch, who was a result of one of Dr. Jumba
Jookiba (David Odgen Stiers)'s experiments, gets a glitch, their
perfect world goes haywire. Now it's going to take Lilo, Nani,
Jumba and a whole lot of 'Ohana' for them to save their funny
little friend. In 'Stitch! The Movie' (2003) Jumba's other
experiments come to Earth and Lilo (Chase) and Stitch have to try
and prevent the evil Dr. Hamsterviel (Jeff Bennett) from getting
his hands on them.
Triple bill of feature-length Disney animated adventures following
Winnie the Pooh (voice of Jim Cummings) and his friends in the
Hundred Acre Wood. In 'Winnie the Pooh' (2011) Pooh finds a note
from Christopher Robin (Jack Boulter) which leads the bear to
believe his friend has been kidnapped by an elusive creature called
the Backson. Joined by Piglet (Travis Oates), Tigger (Cummings),
Eeyore (Bud Luckey) and the rest of the gang, Pooh sets out on a
journey to save Christopher and on the way searches for honey and a
new tail for Eeyore. In 'The Tigger Movie' (2000) Tigger gets in
the way when Pooh, Piglet (John Fiedler), Roo (Nikita Hopkins),
Rabbit (Ken Sansom) and Owl (Andre Stojka) try to prepare a home
for their doleful friend, Eeyore (Peter Cullen), so Pooh suggests
that his ever-bouncing companion go outside and play with some
other tiggers. Tigger thinks this a very foolish suggestion, as he
is the only tigger in existence - or so he thinks. In fact, this
proves to be the start of an exciting adventure in which Tigger
discovers his long-lost family members. In 'Pooh's Heffalump Movie'
(2005) Pooh hears a strange noise in the woods and he and his
friends are convinced that the dreaded Heffalump has come to do
them harm. Pooh, Piglet and Tigger set out to capture the beast,
but Roo (Jimmy Bennett), who is told he's too small to join the
search party, meets Lumpy the Heffalump (Kyle Stanger) face-to-face
and discovers he's not the bad guy he's been made out to be.
Double bill featuring two popular Disney movies. In 'The Jungle
Book' (1967), after being abandoned as a child, young Mowgli
(voiced by Bruce Reitherman) is brought up in the jungle by wolves.
However, when the news arrives that murderous, man-hating tiger
Shere Khan (George Sanders) has returned, Mowgli's friends Bagheera
(Sebastian Cabot) and Baloo (Phil Harris) set out to return the
reluctant mancub to the humans' village. Their task is not made any
easier when Mowgli is kidnapped at the behest of monkey ruler King
Louie (Louis Prima), who wishes to learn the secret of man's power
- fire! Disney Studios' nineteenth animated feature was the last to
be overseen by founder Walt before his death, and won an Academy
Award nomination for the song 'Bare Necessities'. 'The Jungle Book
2' (2003) follows Mowgli (voiced by Haley Joel Osment) as he adapts
to life with humans, having followed the girl, Shanti, he saw
collecting water at the end of the first film. Finding it hard to
live among humans all the time he decides to visit his old friend
Baloo (John Goodman) but Shere Khan gets wind of this and he still
has an old score to settle.
