En este libro se presentan los elementos basicos utilizados para desarrollar modelos de simulacion en Delmia Quest(r) version R20. El objetivo es facilitar el aprendizaje para construir modelos de simulacion sobre una integracion visual 3D de procesos de manufactura y con caracteristicas de manejo de materiales que la plataforma Delmia Quest(r) ofrece. Dicha plataforma ha sido disenada especialmente para profesionistas que laboran en el sector industrial, donde Quest(r) ha podido posicionarse por su sencillez al definir el flujo de trabajo, y su rapidez en la integracion de elementos. El modelo a construir se refiere al proceso de corte y doblez de lamina de acero galvanizado caracteristico de la industria metalmecanica nacional. Con el presente tutorial, los usuarios podran iniciar rapidamente la construccion de sus propios modelos de simulacion sin dilapidar recursos en costosos cursos de capacitacion. Finalmente, 10 estudiantes de ingenieria probaron la efectividad del documento, al menos 50% de ellos consumieron entre 88 y 100 minutos para terminar exitosamente la construccion del modelo propuesto."
