They soon become involved in a battle between local lads, the Death and Glory boys and holiday-makers, the Hullabaloos. 'The Big Six' sees the Death and Glory boys framed for setting several boats free from their moorings. Tom, Dot and Dick turn detective to help their chums out.

With much controversy surrounding its subject matter of religion combined with violence and sex, many cuts were made to the film in order for it to attain certification.
