Hailed everywhere as a brilliant biography, GONZO is a startling
portrait of Hunter S. Thompson, the genius who spent a lifetime
channeling his energy and insight into such landmark works as Fear
and Loathing in Las Vegas--and revolutionized the art of writing.
In their own words, an incredible array of stars--Sonny Barger,
Jack Nicholson, Ralph Steadman, Jimmy Buffett, Anjelica Huston,
Marilyn Manson, Jimmy Carter, and many more--bring into vivid focus
Thompson's creative frenzies, love affairs, drug use, and,
ultimately, his tragic suicide. As Thompson was fond of saying,
"Buy the ticket, take the ride."

Doug Stanhope is one of the most critically acclaimed and stridently unrepentant comedians of his generation. What will surprise some is that he owes so much of his dark and sometimes uncomfortably honest sense of humor to his mother, Bonnie. It was the cartoons in her Hustler magazine issues that molded the beginnings of his comedic journey, long before he was old enough to know what to do with the actual pornography. It was Bonnie who recited Monty Python sketches with him, introduced him to Richard Pryor, and rescued him from a psychologist when he brought that brand of humor to school. And it was Bonnie who took him along to all of her AA meetings, where Doug undoubtedly found inspiration for his own storytelling. Digging Up Mother follows Doug's absurd, chaotic, and often obscene life as it intersects with that of his best friend, biggest fan, and love of his life--his mother. And it all starts with her death--one of the most memorable and amazing farewells you will ever read.
Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter reprise their roles in this fantasy adventure sequel based on Lewis Carroll's novel, directed by James Bobin and produced by Tim Burton. Alice (Wasikowska) finds herself in a mysterious, alternate world after going through a mirror and emerging on the other side of the glass. While there she discovers that the Mad Hatter (Depp) is in danger and that Wonderland could be turned into a wasteland by the evil Time (Sacha Baron Cohen). As Alice tries to turn back time in order to save her friend she once again comes face-to-face with the Red Queen (Bonham Carter)... The film also stars Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum while the voice cast includes Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar, Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat and Michael Sheen as the White Rabbit.
Family adventure based on the novel by Roald Dahl. The film centres around an eccentric chocolatier, Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp), and Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore), a good-hearted boy from a poor family who lives in the shadow of Wonka's extraordinary factory. Most nights in the Bucket home, dinner is a watered-down bowl of cabbage soup, which young Charlie gladly shares with his mother (Helena Bonham Carter) and father (Noah Taylor) and both pairs of grandparents. They all live in a tiny, tumbledown, drafty old house but it is filled with love. Every night, the last thing Charlie sees from his window is the great factory, and he drifts off to sleep dreaming about what might be inside. For nearly fifteen years, no one has seen a single worker going in or coming out of the factory, or caught a glimpse of Willy Wonka himself, yet, mysteriously, great quantities of chocolate are still being made and shipped to shops all over the world. One day Willy Wonka makes a momentous announcement. He will open his famous factory and reveal 'all of its secrets and magic' to five lucky children who find golden tickets hidden inside five randomly selected Wonka chocolate bars. When Charlie finds some money on the snowy street and takes it to the nearest store for a Wonka Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight he finds a golden ticket. The family decides that Grandpa Joe (David Kelly) should be the one to accompany Charlie on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Once inside, Charlie is dazzled by one amazing sight after another.
Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise. When Jack crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), he’s not sure if it’s love or if she’s a ruthless con artist using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
Tim Burton directs the story of one of Hollywood's worst film directors, Ed Wood. Setting up shop in Tinseltown with plenty of enthusiasm but no discernible talent, Wood (Johnny Depp) is undeterred when his debut feature, cross-dressing drama 'Glen or Glenda' (in which he also stars) is a flop. He goes on to make 'Bride of the Monster', also a commercial and creative disaster, with ailing horror star Bela Lugosi (Martin Landau), before embarking on his most grandiose scheme yet: 'Plan 9 from Outer Space'. Martin Landau won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his portrayal of the morphine-addicted Lugosi.
A gothic love story from Tim Burton. When Avon lady Peg Boggs (Dianne Wiest) pays a call to the local castle, she discovers Edward (Johnny Depp) - a half-finished, mechanical boy with scissors for hands. She takes him home to her suburban neighbourhood, where his exotic appeal and prodigious topiary skills make him a celebrity. However, prejudice against the unfamiliar soon takes its toll on the shy misfit.
Johnny Depp stars as Inspector Abberline, the Victorian detective charged with catching Jack the Ripper, in this big screen adaptation of Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell's acclaimed graphic novel. Despite the fact that he is struggling with an opium addiction and the ghosts of his dead wife and child, Abberline nevertheless quickly discovers that the Ripper is a man with an expert's knowledge of human anatomy and some kind of connection to the Freemasons. As his investigations continue, he meets prostitute Mary Kelly (Heather Graham) and following her leads discovers that the killings are connected to people in the highest reaches of British society; but as he gets closer to revealing the culprit, both he and Mary find themselves in mortal danger.
Bruce Robinson writes and directs this drama based on the debut novel of Hunter S. Thompson. Johnny Depp, who also co-produces the film, stars as burned-out vagrant freelance journalist Paul Kemp, who leaves his life in New York behind and heads off south to work for a local newspaper in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There he adopts the debauched, liquor-soaked lifestyle of Hemingway's 'Lost Generation' and develops an unhealthy obsession with Chenault (Amber Heard), the beautiful fiancee of shady property developer Sanderson (Aaron Eckhart).

Captain Jack Sparrow is back in this adventure sequel. Once again thrown into the world of the supernatural, Jack (Johnny Depp) finds out that he owes a blood debt to the legendary Davy Jones (Bill Nighy), Captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. With time running out, Jack must find a way out of his debt or else be doomed to eternal damnation and servitude in the afterlife. If Jack can't find a way to rid himself of Davy Jones once and for all, it may just spell the end for the three adventurers.
The powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
