Por otra parte, los usos del suelo son el elemento mas cambiante y dinamico de todo lo que integra la estructura urbana, motivo por el cual constituye un recurso natural valioso, en consecuencia es importante tener una vision y manejo racional del uso del suelo y la ocupacion del espacio geografico. En lo que a la ciudad de Monteria se refiere, desde los ultimos quince anos se percibe una fuerte tendencia de crecimiento y expansion urbana que ha generado una serie de conflictos de orden estructural y funcional sobre su malla. Con la presente investigacion se busca dar respuesta a que factores economicos, sociales y urbanos ayudan a comprender la dinamica espacial y los impactos economicos de los usos del suelo en la zona norte de Monteria, a partir del analisis de tres variables: cambio de usos de los suelos, estructura urbana y oferta inmobiliaria. La poblacion meta a la que va dirigido este libro se centra en los profesionales del analisis espacial y el urbanismo, incluyendo geografos, arquitectos, urbanistas, planificadores regionales, entre otros."
