One day he is approached by a direct descendant of the Ancient Aztec tribe who informs him that his gold medallion holds a secret that has been kept by many generations of Aztec descendants. He must then travel to the great pyramid in Mexico in search of the well-kept secret and to try to unlock the mystery of how and why he was transformed into a Superhero with Aztec powers.

Paleta Man derrota Huitzilopochtli con la ayuda de Quetzalcoatl y salva el mundo de la aniquilacion total.

Then one night an ancestor comes to him in a dream and tells him of the Aztec Calendar prediction that the world will end soon and that he must travel to the Temple of the Sun pyramid which is located in Teotihuacan, Mexico where he must fight, Huitzilopochtli, the God of War with the help of Quetzalcoatl, who is part human and part God. Paleta Man defeats Huitzilopochtli with the help of Quetzalcoatl and saves the world from total annihilation.

A good and hardworking man, Esteban enjoys his job, especially when it brings him closer to Margarita Morales, the woman he loves. But being a modest man makes Esteban an easy target. He has been bullied, and becomes frustrated by his inability to defend himself. His fate suddenly changes when he purchases an antique wooden box. The box contains a magical medallion that gives Esteban special abilities. With his newly acquired strength, he decides to help those in need and punish criminals. He calls himself Paleta Man. When a new villain captures Margarita, Esteban will need all of his super powers. "The Adventures of Paleta Man" will appeal greatly to young readers who enjoy stories about superheroes.
