Not of this World We know him from that Revelation that tends to set him apart. But John has penned another book that is likewise out of this world. His gospel is known for its verily, verily and a seven-fold use of I Am. The Son of Thunder wants us to know that Christ is heaven-sent. Ascent and descent belong to him - on earth, he alone is divine. He will have some competition below, as the nation given the Word of God resorts to playing God. "I said you are gods," the psalmist says, and these judges are lifted up. Their pride will cost the Savior his life, that men might be born from above. In his commentary, You Are Gods, author Joe Conti gives the reasons why: > Thinking heaven a higher earth is a hurdle to true understanding > John 3:16 is not inclusive, as the case with his high-priestly prayer > Murmuring proves Christ's deity and obedience his heavenly origin > Sovereignty and responsibility always go hand-in-hand Join with us as we tackle the themes of little gods, denominations, and finding our God-given work. Transubstantiation is here, with the danger of dead tradition. The Lamb of God will be crucified for leaving the Jews in the grip of Rome - his kingdom is not of this world.
From the Foundation of the World Everyone loves a mystery, unless they have been excluded. Bible believers are no exception, as everything about our creed is before the world's foundation. Faith, fellowship, godliness, and the good pleasure of His will - all proceed from that time before time, in the psalmist's dark sayings of old. But there is a downside to the faith that comes wrapped in a parabole. The apostles themselves would feel left in the dark, wanting the Lord to speak plainly. And those parables meant to exclude the proud would ensure Christ's death on the cross. Yet nothing is secret but to be revealed, unless the matter is sealed. In his latest work, Mystery, The Hidden, author Joe Conti gives the reasons why: > The garden of Eden was east of Kuwait, meeting its end in the flood > Dinosaurs did not exist, in one of the world's greatest scams > Lucifer is indeed the Devil, one with kings who have sold their soul > The depths of Satan are man's exaltation in illicit sex and idols. Join with us in a closer look at Melchizedek, the Urim and Thummin, the finger of God, and Ezekiel's wheel. The Rapture is here, with the tree of knowledge, the atonement, and the finger of God. Your faith will increase, as we saints decrease by glorying in the cross.
In their excellent treatise, The Visionary's Handbook, authors Watts Wacker and Jim Taylor give the principles that govern the realm of visions. Simple to grasp, equally profound, they show that America's corporate world is sorely lacking in vision. The church is on the hot seat, too, when their greatest rule is applied - that the future always disrupts the present, while the present resists the future. For prophecy is never the status quo, projected into the future. And God will never give man a vision that gives the glory to man. Hal Lindsey thus errs when using technology to explain God's end-times judgments. And Tim LaHaye, content in the present, strays with agreeable fiction. But neither approach will work in explaining the very last book of the Bible. John's Revelation is the highest of visions, given to those who are exiled. Revelation Revisited thus takes the high road by taking God at his word. The result is a greater glimpse of the judgments coming upon the earth. In it, the Antichrist is revealed, with his anti-saints from hell. His prophet and mark are also disclosed, with the site of earth's last pagan kingdom. The depth of apostasy in our day is also clearly presented. For false professions, now the rule, are the link between Beast and False Prophet. And the church that yearns for prosperity here placates the kings of the earth. All concepts combine in this fast-paced book, meant for the Christian and curious. Turkey is the nation to watch. And the kingdom of Christ is well worth the wait, for those who endure tribulation. REVIEWS: "A scholarly, quality product...the obvious result of tremendous research." Rusty Shelton, Phenix & Phenix Literary Publicists "Thank you for your book....it is excellent. Good applications." Pastor Perry F. Rockwood, The People's Gospel Hour "I am really impressed. It is very easy to read, beautifully written, and so deep. I loved the ending." Courtenay H., Abilene, TX
It is considered more a history book than a blueprint for us today. With megachurches all the rage, its teachings are often ignored. Just as Atlantis has sunk to the depths, so this mythic church is gone, never to return. But the book of Acts is the word of God and its churches the pattern for us. The power of Peter and Paul can be ours, if we would just believe what they say and get out of the apostles' way. In his excellent treatise With One Accord, author Joe Conti gives the reasons why: > Pentecost is anti-Babel, and prayer beats that building project > A megachurch has nothing to do with architecture or numbers > The apostles could not leave Jerusalem, for our faith is Ariel-centric > One accord will bring salvation or bring the sure judgment of God Journey with us through this book of transitions, as we tackle the themes of denominations, the gifts, and the call of Paul. Hero-worship and tradition are here, with commitment, conscience, and the fad-driven church. The world's greatest soul-winner pays his dues because Christ has paid the price.
Time, Times, and Half a Time He is to the saints what Nostradamus is to the hopeful heathen. The high ones on high and the kings of the earth are his traveling companions. Beloved by God, guided by angels, Daniel has news for the Jews - time, times, and half a time is a testimony of trouble. Interpreter, dreamer, visionary - Daniel is the master of change, transcending culture and kings. For thousands of years his word will stand, until an archangel lifts two hands. In his treatise Till The Time Be Changed, author Joe Conti gives the reasons why: > Daniel's great Mosaic prayer has made the Jews his people > Seventy weeks relates to the Sabbath and their need for full forgiveness > The Beast and his kingdom are called diverse because they are resurrected > Nebuchadnezzar, the great destroyer, is the lord of the bottomless pit Join in this study of Daniel the dreamer, as we tackle the themes of church and state, angels, prayer, and the man of sin. Vengeance is God's, he will surely repay, when the Son of Man returns in the clouds to rescue the nation of clay.
Full of Judgment, Full of Eyes When it comes to the Hebrew prophets of old, few can match the obscurity of Ezekiel, the son of Buzi. Largely ignored by New Testament writers, he is thought to have seen a UFO and provided an archaic description. The rabbis of Israel thought otherwise, convinced that Ezekiel's merkebah held the secrets of all creation. But there is much more than chariots here, as author Joe Conti deftly explains: > Why the cherubim are the essence of life, reflected in life below > Why their 3-to-1 grouping validates the quadriform gospel accounts > Why the fall of Tyre confirms his writings, together with Babylon's tree > Why Gog and Magog are not Russia - Turkey is the nation to watch This is a game of last man standing, as the Son of man gets a glimpse of glory, plunges the nations into the pit, breaks the idolatry of the Jews, and brings them back in fear to Zion, the mountain of the Lord.
In The Beginning It may be the most famous book on earth and also the most maligned. No wonder, for Moses saves eight in a barge and drowns half a million alive. He gives men death as the price of fruit. His heroes act like sheep in wolves' clothing, accustomed to the half-lie. But Moses is to ages past what John is to future events. His Genesis gives us the birth of all - languages, nations, cities and kings, the family, sin, and redemption's plan. And in Dreamers, Schemers, and First Blasphemers, author Joe Conti gives the reasons why: o A first-earth was not lost in cosmic war o Eden was just to the east of Kuwait o Some megaliths may pre-date the flood o The sons of god were indeed angels, but not the fathers of giants. Journey with us to the Promised Land, as Jacob wrestles with God and culture; Rebekah and Sarah champion election; Joseph defines the doctrine of dreams; and Abram is called to nullify Nimrod, antiquity's good boy gone bad. Melchizedek's here, with the glamorous serpent, the ark, and the Tower of Babel. The saints scheme and dream, the wicked blaspheme, but in all of it God gets his due.
The Gold Standard for Kings He is seen by some as the South saw Lincoln - tycoon, land baron, scoundrel, and beast. His household is one of lust and violence, condoned by an overindulgent father. But David is the gold standard for kings, the Rolls-Royce of royalty. With a kingdom based on seven I will's, his name surpasses the kings of the earth. In debut a shepherd, in death the same, David is an example of what God can do with the man who partakes of abundant grace. Warrior, minstrel, psalmist, and king, David will prosper in all his endeavors, as the gentleness of God makes him great. Walk with the author through tragedy and triumph, as the King of Israel suffers and reigns, in a rule that must be forever.
A Vision To Outlast Nations and Kings If your heart is stirred by Handel's Messiah, this is the book for you. With his reach into heaven and hell beneath, from Creation's day to the Day of the Lord, Isaiah's scope is phenomenal, his themes compelling and epic. To the Ends of the Earth thus gives God the glory, as author Joe Conti explains in detail: o Why our leaders reflect the populace, whether ethical or corrupt o Why war against Israel is suicide and an army's profanity deadly o Why God's great heart for exiles prompted that mark upon Cain o Why faith can conquer conspiracies, as a remnant protects a nation. Join with us in the power of four, as Isaiah's salvation destroys the goyim, but Paul's the works of the Devil. And, wounded, bruised, chastised, and striped, the mighty God-man returns to the earth, to beat all swords into plowshares.
Great Expectations If ever a man seemed to spring from the page, it must be the prophet Elijah. A spectacular phantom, controlling the clouds, he is master of water and fire. Like Melchizedek, he comes out of nowhere, going out in a blaze of glory. Love him or hate him, he gets our attention. Yet the church of today diminishes him, calling the man of God depressed. They fail to see what Elisha saw, that the whirlwind and chariot testify of his matchless spirit and power. In his excellent work The Chariot of Israel, author Joe Conti gives the reasons why: > Elijah's dealings with raven and widow foreshadow the age of grace > His three-and-a-half brings Tribulation, with the seven of heaven cut in half > With Moses, Elijah must one day die in the prophet's slaughterhouse > The fortunes of Israel are inseparably linked to the enigmatic prophet Join with the author as he tackles the themes of the still, small voice, poverty, and the portal to endless supply. Fertility's fans must meet their end - the anointing of God will surely prevail, as the champions of the inner chamber defeat the thankless disciples of Baal.
A Book for Our Day With gang-rape, murder, and civil war, its account is disturbing, even to us. Yet the book of Judges is relevant today, as a nation deep in apostasy waits for a coming king. And in Delegates of Heaven, author Joe Conti shows: o Why Gideon's fleece was not his sign. o Why Samson's sin was a one-time stand. o Why breaking a vow is a dangerous thing. o Why one place to worship was vital to Israel, but one name vital to us. Walk with the author to an upland of faith. Discover the joy of jawbones and daggers, as the weak and foolish things of the world confound the mighty and wise. Reviews "This literate and very perceptive book has been a joy to discover. Joe's prose is as clear as a window pane, his command of his texts impeccable." Mark Sykes, Editor-in-Chief, Athena Press
