When an American tank unit gets caught behind enemy lines the commanding officer puts his entire crew in danger with his decision to rescue nuns and children from a nearby orphanage. Joseph J. Lawson directs this family film following the adventures of a dog who is left home alone at Christmas. When his owners head to visit relatives for the Christmas holidays they are disappointed that they have to leave their beloved dog Bone behind. However, given that a pair of burglars plan to break into houses that are without their owners for the holidays, it is perhaps just as well that Bone is around.
