The complete Japanese anime series set in a future world where humans have been forced to live in underground villages by an evil ruler. Friends Simon (voice of Tetsuya Kakihara) and Kamina (Katsuyuki Konishi) are part of a gang called Team Gurren, who are attempting to reach the surface of the Earth. When a Gunman begins to attack their village, the two boys meet a girl from above named Yoko (Marina Inoue), and the trio join forces to fight their way to the world overhead. Earth is full of enemy Gunmen, however, and defeating them proves to be a very dangerous mission... Anime following the attempts of a vampire queen to establish a colony in Japan. Mina Tepes, the queen of the vampires, makes a deal with the Japanese government to create a specific zone for vampires in order to allow them to emerge from years in the wilderness. Inevitably, however, there are some who are unhappy with the plan and attempt to unseat the queen. They haven't reckoned on her loyal protector, Akira, who swore an oath to Mina as a child and now rises to fulfill his destiny as protector of the vampire queen.
