Collection of six children's animations featuring the Looney Tunes
gang. In 'The Looney, Looney, Looney Bugs Bunny Movie' (1981) Bugs
(voice of Mel Blanc) finds himself at the centre of Yosemite Sam
(Blanc)'s devilish intentions, tries to bring down a gangster and hosts
an awards ceremony. In 'Looney Tunes: Rabbits Run' (2015) Lola Bunny
(Rachel Ramras) inadvertently invents an invisibility spray, and she
and Bugs Bunny (Jeff Bergman) find themselves pursued through the
streets of Paris and New York City by others seeking the formula.
In 'Daffy Duck's Quackbusters' (1988) Daffy (Blanc) opens his own
supernatural detective agency. After inheriting a millionaire's
fortune, Daffy is obligated to help the community and sets about
hunting down troublesome ghosts. He employs his Looney Tunes pals to
help him in his quest, but will he be able to free himself of the
millionaire's haunting spirit? In 'Daffy Duck's Movie - Fantastic
Island' (1983), while stranded on a desert island, Daffy (Blanc) and
Speedy Gonzales (Blanc) find a treasure map that leads them to a
magical wishing well with the power to grant wishes.
Hoping to make themselves rich, Daffy and Speedy create a luxury resort
and where they hope to make their guests' dreams come true. However,
it's not long before an infamous pirate arrives on the island in
pursuit of his lost treasure map. In 'Tweety's High Flying Adventure'
(2000) Tweety Pie (Joe Alaskey) sets off to travel the globe in 80
days, collecting cat paw prints along the way as proof.
However, Sylvester (Alaskey) is soon on Tweety's tail, doing his best
to thwart the yellow canary's efforts. Finally, 'Marvin the Martian:
Space Tunes' (1998) follows the extraterrestrial Looney Tune Marvin the
Martian on 12 adventures.
This film mixes live action and animation. Bob Hoskins plays a
seedy private eye who is sent on an investigation in Toon-town, an
L.A. suburb which houses all the cartoon characters. Jessica
Rabbit, a sexy, almost human toon, is up to all sorts of mischief
and Hoskins is out to find out exactly what she's doing, involving
himself in murder and intrigue.

Four episodes from the original animated series. Each episode
focuses on one of four primary characters, Smurfette (voice of
Lucille Bliss), Hefty (Frank Welker), Brainy (Danny Goldman) and
Clumsy (William Callaway), as they take part in all sorts of
adventures and foil the schemes of the wicked Gargamel (Paul
Winchell).
"Like millions of people, I've been listening to June Foray for
most of my life. I remember when I first encountered Rocky and
Bullwinkle in their first season on TV, and falling under the spell
of Jay Ward's sharply-written, wonderfully performed cartoons. What
I can't remember is when I learned that the same woman who provided
the voice of Rocky also acted as Natasha, Nell, and a host of other
characters on the series, including the gravely-voiced fairy
godmother who was patterned after character actress Marjorie Main.
But as a diehard cartoon fan, it didn't take me long to memorize
the names of the actors in the show's credits (fleeting though they
were). "Around the same time I became enamored of Stan Freberg's
comedy records, including such hit singles as "St. George and the
Dragonet" and classic albums like Stan Freberg Presents the United
States of America. The rich, colorful voices on those records
became permanently ingrained in my consciousness, and in time I
connected the dots and realized that June, Paul Frees, and Daws
Butler were the same people I heard on so many cartoon
soundtracks." - Leonard Maltin, from his Foreword
