As I am willing to become transparent in this three-part series (From Mistress to Ministry), my testimony capitalizes on scriptural references and information, in conjunction with past experiences, to present a biblical reformation that will promote genuine holiness in a wayward church. The principle of spiritual warfare is that we must be called to order, before we can advance to the next level of victory. My objective is three-fold: to nurture damaged spirits, to foster a healing process for victims of abuse, and to present the deliverance that repentance brings to those who are trapped in sexual sins. Pastors, can God count on you to avoid the damaging effects of committing spiritual incest? Husbands, can your wives trust you to shun the immoral acts of adultery/fornication? Fathers, can your daughters lean on you to steer clear of raping them of their innocence? Teachers, can our children expect you to be mentors, and not molesters? Executives, can your subordinates rely on you to refrain from sexual-harassment violations? Officials, can your citizens depend on you to protect us against economic hardship? President of the United States, can God trust you to call this nation back to Him and snatch us out of the hand of the enemy? More than mere members of an organization or a population, we are your sons and daughters. Powerful ambassadors of God, will you cover us in our imperfections and not continue to exploit our vulnerabilities? "For the time is come that judgment deliverance through investigation or examination] must begin at the house of God..". When the Kingdom of God does not influence the nation through truth and righteousness, the leadership of the nation is not equipped to positively affect its citizens. However, the nation cannot be healed until the church has been cleansed. Thus, we can not afford to remain complacent to the issues of clergy misconduct and the abuse and misuse of spiritual power. Secret issues can only be eradicated by exposing old wounds; otherwise, hidden infection will inevitably spread throughout the Body. In presenting this 21st-century exposition of the consequences of making ungodly decisions, I minister based on where I am, after I have judged myself - based on where I was. "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the Word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscious in the sight of God" (II Cor. 4:1-2).

"FROM MAN'S ABUSE TO THE WOMAN GOD LOOSED" My burdens, they had me bound; I was lost, but now I'm found. I had a zeal of God, but I didn't know me; Jesus loosed me, and now I'm free. The tears I've shed were because of great pain; my mind was confused, sin had me insane. When the church doors opened, I was often the first one in, looking and acting holy, while living in sin. I was hurting, and now I'm healed; I was empty, but now I'm filled. Angry at God and me, I didn't feel any love, not realizing that true love comes from above. I had studied the Word, but didn't know God's plan. I was seeking God, but trusting in man. This was the foundation, the key to my abuse. Within a moment, I was set free, when Jesus said: "WOMAN, THOU ART LOOSED "

SURVIVING "P.M.S." THE "PASTOR'S MISTRESS STRONGHOLD" Having suffered through many major and minor surgeries, lived through an emotionally-abusive relationship as a mistress for 15 years (P.M.S.), endured sexual harassment violations in the workplace, experienced racial discrimination professionally, and filed multiple bankruptcies, KAREN D. REID is definitely a survivor. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Memphis State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University. Before, He was reaching out to me, offering me everything I needed from Him. From Mistress To Ministry, I am now reaching up, to give Him back what He has given me. From a life that once was, having left the past behind - that is now, with hands extended upward, receiving from the Light, a new life in Ministry. The issue is over, the bleeding has stopped, the secret is out - DESTINY IS BORN A personal testimony that attests to the healing and delivering power of the Almighty, is a story inspired by the message, Woman Thou Art Loosed. A very controversial topic, clergy sexual misconduct has long been exploited, but I feel that the purpose of my experience was to prepare me for the divine assignment of addressing the consequences of this debilitating issue. A baby born out of intense pain and suffering, this is not just a typical Christian novel, but a ministry project that combines church life, renewal, self-help, and Christian nurture. While I am courageously bold and miraculously healed enough to come forward, my message suggests, that as men and women of integrity, born to affect our generation, we must walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise.as in Ephesians 5:15. where I am, turn the page and follow the energy - the LIGHT that radiates from the begotten SON of the heavenly Father.
