Mark Wahlberg stars in this action thriller set in the cut-throat world of international smuggling. Once a professional criminal specialising in contraband goods and counterfeit money, Chris Farraday (Wahlberg) left his life of crime behind a long time ago and is now happily settled into family life with his wife, Kate (Kate Beckinsale). But when his brother-in-law, Andy (Caleb Landry Jones), becomes involved in a botched gangland drug deal, Chris finds himself dragged back into the criminal underworld as he goes all out to save Andy's skin.

For young couple Amy and David Fox, a long day bickering in their car suddenly gets much worse when they break down in the middle of nowhere. Luckily for them they find a motel and settle down to watch some TV.

Concern rises when they realise the 'snuff' movies the motel thoughtfully supply for their guests seem vaguely familiar. Discovering hidden cameras, they realise that they are about to star in the performance of their lives, or rather the end of it, unless they can somehow escape.

Set in the 6th Century this is the tale of murder, greed, passion and revenge in Scotland and Denmark. The Royal throne has been taken over by the King's brother, after the King's murder. But the murder was witnessed by the younger brother, who plots his revenge by faking madness and trying to reveal the truth through the 'play within a play'.
