Memoirs of a Dreamer, documents the harsh realities of pursuing a
dream. Most memoirs are written as glamorous accounts of success
told in retrospect, once the author has been so qualified by age
and achievement that he finds the courage to tell his story. Mine
is quite the opposite. I know more struggle than success; more
tears than triumph. Yet, I understand how desperately the members
of this generation need to learn the cost of attaining a dream, and
even so, be inspired to pay that price. Memoirs of a Dreamer is my
account of the process of success: the glorious, arduous journey.
With blood on his hands, an embittered David runs away from the
Falkland War. He travels through Europe to find a new beginning.
Wandering through various cities he remains dissatisfied until he
arrives in Florence where he becomes entangled in the tumulus world
of the Zuccato sisters. Maria and Kathleen Zuccato are unaware of
their upcoming fate as David arrives to fill their world with
murder and mystery.
"Poverty, terrorism, murder, disease, homelessness, hopelessness,
hunger and death; all cease to exist in 2049." Aeternum Ray is a
sweeping, yet intimate story of mankind's next renaissance that
will appeal to fans of visionaries Isaac Asimov, Gene Roddenberry
and Ray Kurzweil. The novel is a collection of emotional personal
letters written by 240-year-old William Babington to his newborn
son Benjamin. Having lived a full life, William has experienced
everything from death to his rebirth into the utopian Aeternum; an
advanced computer system shepherded by the omnipotent artificial
intelligence Ray. William pens the highlights of his existence,
love, and loss while reflecting on the centuries of wonder he has
witnessed firsthand. His humble letters form a detailed memoir that
is intertwined with humanity's greatest triumphs, the technological
singularity, and the solemn burden of surviving Earth's darkest
night of terror. Through the light and dark times of the near
future, Aeternum Ray departs from dystopian themes and brings back
the uplifting notion of utopian speculative ideals.
Ismena has lived twenty-one years in solace and longs for freedom.
When Artos, the prophesier, takes over her education, she believes
he is giving her the keys to the freedom she has so desperately
sought. He teaches her how to fight and protect herself in the
outside world and how to access the dimensions of the mind. In this
psycho-spiritual energy vortex she can change the course of the
future and can also visit her past life. On the night of her
twenty-second birthday, Ismena embarks on a journey. She plans an
escape that breaks the protective enchantments around her; little
does she know how vulnerable and weak she is outside the castle
walls. But that was Artos's plan all along. He devised the evil
plot with her previous life partner Taven after her first death and
lured her out of the castle so that he could kill her again. Beyond
the castle gates, Ismena visits the city of Delenvan. Here she
receives insight from the meditators and sets out on the stairway
to her past life. She begins her journey with James, the new
kitchen boy from the castle, who has undertaken a journey of his
own to find his missing brother and sister. They travel through
Ismena's past life and when danger comes, she is forced to use her
power of mind travel for the first time. Together they fall into a
tidal wave of adventurous events that become a battle of the minds
as they race from danger, in pursuit of their quest.
