Bug Club Phonics is a Department for Education-approved phonics
teaching programme that gives children a strong foundation in
phonics. It uses research-based teaching methods, proven to work.
All books are 100% decodable to help today's little readers get
started on their journey to reading success. Bug Club Phonics books
are ideal for use at home and are a great way to help your child
take their first steps towards 'cracking the code' which will
enable them to learn to read and spell. Helpful notes on the inside
front cover of each book highlight tricky words and give you ideas
for before and during reading, and the inside back covers include
ideas for delving deeper after reading to check understanding. The
packs are matched to the phonics phases children are taught in
school by term, from nursery to Year 1: Nursery (EYFS): phase 1

term 3: phase 4 Year 1, term 1: Phase 5 Year 1, term 2: Phase 5/6

Kathryn Irene Stewart, Born: Yreka, California, November 25, 1946.
Raised in Scott Valley; attended Etna Elementary and Etna High
School. Kathryn was raised to appreciate life in the country; the
importance of working together, and using basic skills to make home
a comfortable and safe harbor. At age six, dad brought home a piano
for mom, and Kathryn's love affair with music began. The ability to
play "by ear" was evident as she played for family gatherings,
"jam-sessions," with groups; for weddings, funerals and church
services. She married Daniel Stewart on June 28, 1963, and raised a
daughter and two sons. (June 28, 2013, Daniel and Kathryn were
honored by their kids with a 50th Anniversary/family reunion
weekend ) Kathryn accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in
1973. Learning to put aside 'self' and learn to accept all others
just as they are, was the beginning of an awesome journey and
Spiritual growth. The desire to touch other's lives included
teaching basic elements of art to children and adults as well as
helping unblock individuals - who for personal reasons could no
longer create. Class values were easily compared to the values we
need in our lives: God is our Creator - therefore, we were meant to
be creative, with the individual tools and skills we possess. Her
first published poetry was sparked by special sermons that resulted
in awards from the International Society of Poets. as a writer,
through poetry and letters to friends and loved ones, Kathryn's
priority is to "keep in touch" and respond to those who need
encouragement in their lives. This is how "An Artist's Touch" came
to be. It is not a big book, but is filled with the love of art and
creativity.
