Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Baha'i are all in the business of
preparing man for the Hereafter. Each through a revelation from
God, claim to be his agent, and to have special powers in the
operation of their business. Each claim that there is a personal
God, who created the universe and man, and if man participates in
the sacraments of their religion, he will achieve everlasting life.
To evaluate these claims, the author uses the trial format, with
the State charging monotheism with being guilty of violating the
laws of advertising, by the use of witchcraft-crafty science and
fortune telling, in the making of false claims and misleading
statements about reality in the universe.
The Prosecution provides the scientific evidence and the Defense
the religious evidence. Each call witnesses and cross-examine each
other's witnesses, enabling the author to provide the best
arguments on both sides of the issue, leaving the reader as the
juror to decide which of the two presentations of evidence is the
most logical and believable.
