The world is full of people who are looking for love. It is also
full of horror stories about what happened to people when they
found love in the wrong people, places, or things. God, the Love of
My Life describes a man's journey through heartbreak, depicting his
scars and his fear while on an emotional roller coaster. Read to
learn how God pulled this man closer and showed him a love he had
never before known, which now gives him the opportunity to love
like never before. God, the Love of My Life is a man's public
declaration of his love for God. Connect with the author on

In 1 Kings 19:10-13, Elijah heard God's voice. A powerful wind, an
earthquake, and a fire passed by, but God could not be heard. Then
the Lord was heard in a quiet whisper. God Speaks to My Soul is a
reminder that we all have to be quiet and still so that we can
receive what God is relaying to us. There are times when we go
through life and say that we are busy, but we are merely being
busybodies. We seldom take time to get in tune with ourselves and
listen to what our inner voice is telling us. Sometimes, we make
mistakes, knowing that we ignored our intuition. Sometimes, people
go to places of worship in an effort to get closer to God. Yet,
they fail miserably. Elijah was not in a place of worship when he
heard God's voice. God is everywhere. We can find Him anywhere at
any time. Connect with the author on Facebook at https:

The Sidelines is a collection of poetry that highlights what it is
like to be on the sidelines of life. While glory is achieved by
engaging in the action, the sideline is a great place to learn,
heal, grow, develop a hunger to succeed, develop humility, support
others, prepare for when your time comes, coach, and so forth. The
sideline of life is also an incredible place to answer the
following question: "Is this what I really want?" Connect with the

Flirting with Disaster is a collection of poetry that examines how
every decision we make alters the course of our lives and that of
those around us, especially those with whom we are romantically
involved. While we can't live mistake-free lives, we can avoid
making certain mistakes by taking the time to think things through
before proceeding down a possibly destructive path. Some things are
fun and games until we are caught or someone is hurt. Flirting with
Disaster is also about learning and growing from our mistakes.

Survival is a poetic examination of one of the most heinous crimes
on the planet: sexual assault. Some of the stories herein are
real-life accounts, while others are fictional. However, it may be
impossible to tell the difference because even the most improbable
things have happened to one or more of the millions of survivors
around the world. Survival is meant to give hope to those who are
still on the road to recovery. In addition, Survival places the
shame where it truly belongs: on those who commit these crimes.
Survival is a reminder that there are things in life that we may
never get over, but we will get through them. Connect with the

Wrongfully Accused is poetic look at how one's life is altered by
false allegations and misunderstandings. For some, this means time
in a correctional facility. Anyone who is falsely accused of
anything serves time in prison, even if it's a mental
prison-because fear sets in as the individual resumes the journey
of life by walking on eggshells. Connect with the author on

The Path to Enlightenment is about our quest to find inner peace.
Many seek inner peace but never find it. But everyone who finds it
soon realizes that it doesn't mean a life without challenges and
that inner peace is a journey, not a destination. In some cases,
inner peace will lead to even more challenges in life. Saul's life
was changed when he was called to serve God. He went from being
Saul, the man who persecuted Jews, to the Apostle Paul, the man who
was enlightened, yet he suffered tremendously. One of the most
powerful messages from the Bible is "As iron sharpens iron, so one
person sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17 NIV). Even if you are not
religious, the enclosed collection of poetry is about things in
life to help sharpen you.
On Trial: A Test of My Faith is meant to help you endure life's
challenges as your faith in God is put to the test. Psalms 66:9-12
mentions being tested and refined like silver. On Trial: A Test of
My Faith is a compelling eyewitness report from the depths of the
smelting pot. Before the things God ordained and planned come to
pass like in Isaiah 37:26, you may have to endure many challenges.
But, if you endure you will discover that the Lord will fulfill His
promises as stated in Luke 1:37. On Trial: A Test of My Faith is a
reminder that having faith is more than simply a noun, it is also a
verb. Connect with the author on Facebook at https:

Second Chances: Worthy of Redemption is the follow-up to Humble
Pie: A Gift from God. Anyone who has truly lived has probably made
at least one mistake. In some cases, the mistake is something one
has to learn to live with for the rest of one's life. If this
blemish on one's life's record doesn't result in public
humiliation, it can at least serve as a thorn in one's side to help
keep the person humble. Even when we forget and move beyond our
transgressions, others will occasionally appear to remind us, and,
in some cases, try to define us by who we were or by what we did or
what was done to us. Second Chances: Worthy of Redemption is about
those of us who have made mistakes. Since we can't undo the past
that added an imperfection or two to our lives, we have to learn
and grow from our experiences and do our best to continue living
without repeating our transgressions. It is said that we never get
a second chance to make a first impression, but we always have a
chance to make a lasting impression. Connect with the author on

Humble Pie: A Gift from God is a poetic look at how people fall
from grace; the lessons we can learn from each other; and how
humility can help us recover from life's challenges. Oftentimes,
people fall from grace or find it hard to recover simply because of
pride. Some people would literally prefer to die rather than do
things like ask for help or apologize. Connect with the author on

The much-debated question of whether a fallen tree makes a sound if
no one is there to hear it is answered by a brokenhearted person
who was dumped and left alone. When no one understands the pain,
and the one person who could make things better has ceased all
communication so as to move on without being bothered by the
gurgling sounds of the brokenhearted person left behind, The Sound
of a Fallen Tree is the stethoscope that amplifies the sounds of a
heart that is being drained of the love it once knew. The Sound of
a Fallen Tree allows the world to hear the cries of a fallen giant
who was left for dead. Connect with the author on Facebook at
