This volume contains selected tutorial and young scientist school papers of the 5th RAAI Summer School on Artificial Intelligence, held in July 2019 at Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) campus in Dolgoprudny, a suburb of Moscow, Russia. This book constitutes the proceedings of the 18th Russian Conference on Artificial Intelligence, RCAI 2020, held in Moscow, Russia, in October 2020. The 27 full papers and 8 short papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 140 submissions.
