ECHOS FROM THE HEART is written from the author's personal life, in
three parts. In Part I, she takes the reader through her story of
being widowed at 26 with two small children, examining grief and
the lessons she learned in moving forward through the heartache of
trauma and loss, into a new beginning. Part II is a compilation of
ten uplifting essays, or letters, regarding faith, life and love
taken from her experiences. As an ordained minister, Part III
provides the reader fifty-four beautiful affirmations of promise
for two people in love, based on the sacrament of marriage.

grief and emotional healing that was sustained through a deep
Christian faith. In the process of her journey she awakens to
Native American spirituality that changes and enriches the
direction of her life. Laren became an ordained New Thought
Christian minister, writer and teacher. Journey's End is her
personal story told through poetry and prose that includes a second
marriage and dealing with bi-polar illness in a spouse. She speaks
honestly and from the heart, sharing her profound journey with the
hope that her story will help others to heal their own lives.
