"One Foot In The Stirrup" is a collection of cowboy and western poetry with an emphasis on the humor that forms such a large part of the western way of life. The unexpected is always present in the every day workings of any ranch and is almost always viewed with a chuckle and a mental note to tell that funny event at the next possible appropriate moment.
