Un dels reptes als que s'enfronten els ajuntaments es la correcta i
eficient gestio de la diversitat. Aixi, els ens municipals i
d'altres agents implicats en la materia son els encarregats de
configurar les politiques publiques d'immigracio amb l'objectiu de
proporcionar el maxim benestar a la composicio diversa que
conformen les societats actuals, combinant l'atencio a criteris
d'eficiencia-eficacia en el seu disseny, implementacio i avaluacio.
A partir d'una enquesta realitzada per la Fundacio Carles Pi i
Sunyer dins del Panel de Politiques Publiques Locals, es desplega
l'analisi d'aquestes dades des d'una perspectiva de la gestio
publica, per tal de poder abordar quin es l'impacte de la gestio de
les politiques locals d'immigracio a Catalunya, tant a nivell
intern de les propies corporacions locals com en els seus resultats
externs, tot aportar-ne algunes reflexions essencials. El present
llibre es la concrecio d'un projecte d'investigacio dut a terme per
dos col.laboradors de l'Equip d'Administracio Publica de la
