The third spicy, swoon-worthy rom-com from Amy Lea, author of Set on You and Exes and O's.
In a last ditch attempt to rescue her brand from the brink of irrelevance, fashion influencer Melanie Karlsen finds herself in a rural fishing village on the east coast of Canada. The only thing scarier than nature itself? Burly fisherman Evan Whaler - who single-handedly disproves the theory that canadians are 'nice'.
After a boating incident lands Evan in the hospital, Mel is mistaken for his fiancee by his welcoming yet quirky family. And, in exchange for Evan's help with her social media content, Mel agrees to fake their engagement for just one week.
But reeling in their budding feelings for each other proves more difficult than expected.
Is Mel willing to sacrifice her picture-perfect life in the city for a chance at true love in the wild?
X-kit Achieve! English Grades 8 to 12 Essential Reference Guide has
been revised and updated to provide even more CAPS-aligned support. The
trusted content has been grouped into the four key language skills –
Listening and Speaking, Reading and Viewing, Writing and Presenting and
Language Structures and Conventions.
Reading strategies for unknown words have been added and the Language
structures example grid provides an overview of key language concepts.
Additional support for formal assessment, in the form of tips for
papers 1, 2 and 3, reflects where learners need the greatest support,
while the new Oral assessment rubric will guide learners on how to
maximise their marks in the oral assessment.

Kristin Hanggi directs this made-for-TV comedy based on the
children's books by Jim Benton. At the centre of events is Jamie
Kelly (Emily Alyn Lind), a middle school girl whose diary reflects
the preoccupations of her peers and classmates. Armed with the
support of her friend Isabella (Mary-Charles Jones), Jamie sets out
to win the heart of the boy she has the biggest crush on, Hudson
(David Mazouz), and to get one over on the vindictive Angeline
(Sterling Griffith). The pages of her diary record her successes -
and failures...
Triple bill of horror movies. 'Hiding' (2012) stars Ana Villafañe
as a young woman attempting to begin a new life following the
brutal murder of her parents. Taken into the care of a witness
protection programme, a new identity is established for Jo
(Villafañe) in Montana and she leaves her home in New York and her
past life behind. Unfortunately, when a man known as Mr Ostrog
(Dean Armstrong) appears and begins to take an interest in her, Jo
could be forgiven for thinking that the protection programme has
failed to keep her identity safe from the man she is due to testify
against. In 'The Victim' (2011) Annie (Jennifer Blanc)'s camping
trip with her friend, Mary (Danielle Harris), goes disastrously
wrong when Mary is savagely attacked and Annie witnesses her
murder. As she flees through the woods from pursuers Harrison (Ryan
Honey) and Cooger (Denny Kirkwood), Annie comes across a small
cabin inhabited by the loner Kyle (Michael Biehn), but will he help
her or hinder her? 'Beneath the Dark' (2010) is a psychological
thriller from first-time director Chad Feehan. Driving through the
Mojave Desert on their way to the wedding of an old college friend,
Paul and Adrienne (Josh Stewart and Jamie-Lynn Sigler) stop for the
night at Roy's Motel. Confronted by a surreal atmosphere and their
equally strange hosts, Frank and Sandy (Chris Browning and Angela
Featherstone), Paul begins to feel uneasy about his new
surroundings and wonders what lies in store for them.

Romantic comedy starring Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel and Danny
DeVito. Beth Harper (Bell) is a young, career-driven New Yorker who
has hitherto been very unlucky in love. While on a whirlwind trip
to Rome for her sister's wedding, she is attracted to the best man,
Nick (Duhamel), but is dismayed to see him with another woman and
turns to drink to drown her disappointment. In her drunken state
she delves for coins in the famed 'Fontana de Amore', and is amazed
on her return to New York to find herself being pursued by not one
but five love-crazed men - including the delectable Nick. But is he
really in love with her, or simply under the fountain's spell?
Combining both theoretical and practical insights, the Research
Handbook on Secession addresses a wide range of legal issues
surrounding secessions. It considers both well-known examples such
as Kosovo and Bangladesh alongside less frequently discussed cases
including Somaliland and Palestine, offering state-of-the-art
analysis of international law on statehood, secession,
self-determination and related topics. Featuring contributions from
a range of international scholars and experts, the Research
Handbook discusses what a state is, distinguishes between
declarations of independence and secessions, and examines the
differences between secessions and the dissolution of states.
Chapters provide both international law and comparative
constitutional perspectives on issues of secession, inviting the
reader to think afresh about the role of international law in
territory and statehood. The Research Handbook also argues for the
possibility that combining insights from international and
constitutional law in particular could move the debate forward.
This incisive Research Handbook will be crucial reading for
scholars and students of constitutional and international law, as
well as political science academics, with an interest in statehood
and secession-related topics. It will further prove useful for
international legal practitioners advising on these issues.
