Este volumen contiene una selección de artículos sobre la traducción literaria que fueron presentados durante la Conferencia Internacional Traducción e Intercambio Cultural en la Época de la Globalización, celebrada en el mayo de 2006 en la Facultad de Filología de la Universidad de Barcelona. La Conferencia fue organizada por el grupo de investigación del CRET Traducción e interculturalidad, de la Universidad de Barcelona. El volumen incluye una muestra representativa del múltiple y variado debate en las lenguas española, portuguesa, catalana e inglesa en torno a la traducción literaria en Europa y América (América Latina, EEUU, Canadá). Además, se abordan también otras cuestiones traductológicas de índole general. El Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia español ha tenido a bien financiar tanto la Conferencia como la antología dentro del marco del Proyecto de Investigación BFF2003-002216.

Anlasslich des 50. Linguistischen Jubilaumskolloquium in Innsbruck 2015 prasentierten 109 Vortragende aus Ost und West ihre vielfaltigen Forschungsaktivitaten und wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse zum Faszinosum Sprache, diesmal unter dem Rahmenthema "Sprache verstehen, verwenden, ubersetzen". Der vorliegende Sammelband greift die Diskussionen auf. Er enthalt Beitrage aus den zehn Sektionen des Kolloquiums (1. Semantik, Lexikologie, Phraseologie, Lexikographie; 2. Pragmatik, Diskursanalyse, Textlinguistik; 3. Grammatik, Grammatikographie; 4. Wortbildung, Korpuslinguistik, Computerlinguistik; 5. (Zweit-)Spracherwerb und seine Didaktik; 6. Translatorik; 7. Diachrone Linguistik; 8. Angewandte Linguistik; 9. Interkulturelle Kommunikation; 10: Kontrastive Linguistik) sowie drei Plenarvortrage.

Dieser Band prasentiert die Beitrage der VII. Innsbrucker Ringvorlesung zur Translationswissenschaft, die im Sommersemester 2013 am Institut fur Translationswissenschaft zu Innsbruck stattfand. International namhafte Translationswissenschaftler aus sieben Landern Europas stellten zu der traditionellen internationalen Innsbrucker Ringvorlesung ihre Forschungen zum Phanomen Translationskompetenz vor und zur Diskussion. Translationskompetenz - Woher kommt sie? Was ist das? Wohin geht sie? Diesen drei programmatischen Fragen lassen sich alle Vorlesungen dieses Bandes zuordnen, der bewusst den Titel Bausteine translatorischer Kompetenz tragt, da die Frage, was die Translationskompetenz ausmacht, bis heute Ratsel aufgibt. Die Beitrage beleuchten einzelne Kompetenzen, uber die TranslatorInnen nach Meinung der Ringvorlesenden verfugen (mussen), um professionell ubersetzen bzw. dolmetschen zu koennen. Formal Slavic Linguistics stands for explicit descriptions of Slavic languages considering all linguistic levels and interfaces. The authors of this volume apply recent formal models in linguistics and demonstrate their descriptive accuracy and explanatory power. The authors investigate issues in psycholinguistics and computational linguistics as well as phonetic, syntactic, semantic, and morphological aspects of Slavic languages, applying recent formal models in linguistics (such as Minimalism, Optimality theory, HPSG, formal semantics). The Editors: Gerhild Zybatow is professor of Slavic linguistics at the Slavic Department at the University of Leipzig. Uwe Junghanns, Grit Mehlhorn, and Luka Szucsich hold research and teaching positions at the University of Leipzig. In 1995, the editors called into being FDSL - the European forum for the formal description of Slavic languages. The FDSL-conferences take place biannually in Leipzig and Potsdam.

Formal Slavic Linguistics is concerned with explicit descriptions of structure and meaning of Slavic languages within a certain theoretical framework of Principles and Parameters that attempts to situate linguistic theory in the broader cognitive sciences. Many approaches in the present volume reflect this development in a rather significant way. But the book also illustrates the diversity of approaches we use in attempting to reflect the entire range of subfields within a given theoretical framework of cognitive science.
