Taking place during The Escape Series, Krista is left behind to
fend for herself in Teenage Confinement when she is abandoned by

Wendy Austin has discovered that things don't always go as planned.
She is unable to cross the border line back to Canada without being
electrocuted to death. If any guard's catch her after the damage
she has caused, she can guarantee that they'll kill her in a
heartbeat. She now has to keep her friends safe, take down the
government, and try to get back home to her family. But how can she
keep everyone else alive when she's barely alive herself. Not only
has she been hurt mentally, but her physical wounds are about to
get the best of her. This is the most dangerous challenge she has
yet to face. Everything just keeps getting more and more
complicated. Will they make it out alive?
Wendy Austin has escaped from her captivity and the American
government. She has everything she could ever want: her family, her
brother, her best friend, and a house where she can live safely and
not worry about being taken away. Yet, something is drawing her
away from Canada and back to America. If there is any chance that
Mike is still alive, she has to find out and save him. Through this
rescue mission, she will learn what the American government is
really capable of and what goes on inside their prisons from a
guard's perspective. She may even find more than she came looking
for. But even Wendy knows that when it comes to the American
government, you only get one shot to make it out alive or end up
dead.
The government thought that teenagers were the main cause of crime
in America. So from the day that a teenager turns thirteen, they
are locked away in buildings and treated like prisoners and left
that way until they are eighteen. Wendy Austin couldn't take it any
longer. She knew that there had to be some way to escape all of it.
As she starts to plan the escape, she must rely on her friends and
a guard with a secret that she can't help but trust. But running
from the government isn't as easy as it looks. She must race to
find her family, who has moved to Canada to keep her brother safe,
before the guards can catch her.
