Introductory I decided to write this book as a part of healing. If you have been a victim of physical and emotional abuse you will clearly understand the need to get away from your inner self. To heal your soul, to live in fantasy and that is exactly what this book does, it takes you away to the fantasy of a woman running away, experiencing life. Taking chances, through making all the wrong choices but ending up with what she deserves all along. The process of her journey is the inner torment the abuse, everyone that has been through anything like this knows at one time or another you will have to take full responsibility for all the crazy roads that you took, the decisions you made, the time lost, and the lessons learned. By the end of this story you can see where the journey took Lizzy and you will experience all the healing through reading this amazing "adult" book. Live life in fantasy and read my book. You will feel you are Lizzy, as she struggles through the pain, through the torment, through the unknown, through the heartache, all the questions and the uncertainties. In this day and age so much has changed in the public eye. But behind closed doors there will always be prejudice words shared about the diversity of relationships. Many couples are ridiculed for the same sex marriages, and relationships. Worried that the "Gays & Lesbians" may taint their children or adoption is frowned upon for them. Heterosexuals are being attacked for being in relationships with different races, economical differences in their upbringings, age, religious differences, step-children, attractiveness or not, time spent together before marriage. As if there is a set time before you know that your lives are meant to be together. There will always be someone pointing the finger dissatisfied. So this is why I wrote this book, compiled couples stories, true stories, and their own love stories. To show people that no matter how different they are, they chose the perfect partner for their lives. No relationships is perfect, no relationship will ever be perfect. It is the effort these couples have made to stay together and make it work.

I realized that in my life, I have run through it without taking the time to savor each moment.Today I know Roses do not blossom over night. So each moment, each experience, each detail in my life is slowly absorbed and cherished. As you can see on the cover, I placed my side profile. The meaning of this is that many people may think they know you but they only know part of you. Possibly a story of you, a rumor of you, an experience with you and some of you but never all of you. I have written many poems of some of who I am and Israel Rico brought the words to life through his artwork. Emotions are easily written as well as drawn and the combination in this book speaks for itself. I added extra pages in the book so that you can place personal poems or drawings in them.
