Joe Dallesandro stars in this Italian crime thriller co-written and directed by Pasquale Squitieri. The film follows Aldo (Dallesandro), a young and ambitious smuggler looking to make a name for himself in the criminal underworld. However, after being beaten and left for dead by a local crime boss for attempting to skim some of the profits for himself, Aldo is forced to go it alone and forms his own gang of crooks in an attempt to get his revenge. The cast also includes Stefania Casini, Benito Artesi and Ferdinando Murolo.

When he discovers his girlfriend Iona (Anita Strindberg) is working for a wealthy businessman, he gathers together some friends in order to kidnap the man's daughter (Laura Belli) for ransom. All goes according to Giulio's plan at first, but it's not long before his sadistic nature reveals itself and the gang descends into violent paranoia. The cast also includes Henry Silva as the tough cop on the kidnappers' trail.
