Moronic metalheads Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey) broadcast a cable-access show from Wayne's basement. Their wisecracks about youth, music and girls are picked up on by a TV executive (Rob Lowe), who pays them to produce a 'new, improved' programme for national TV. But the pair discover that fame has its price when they lose control of the show and the TV executive starts pursuing Wayne's girlfriend.
Comedy starring Tina Fey as Kate Holbrook, a successful single businesswoman who realises in her late 30s that, owing to an unforeseen gynaecological problem, she has left it too late to have a baby. Undaunted, Kate approaches a surrogacy agency run by the formidable Chaffee Bicknell (Sigourney Weaver), and engages working class girl Angie Ostrowiski (Amy Poehler) to be a surrogate mother. Once she finds out that Angie has become pregnant, Kate throws herself into reading childcare manuals, researching good schools and installing baby equipment in her apartment in between her business engagements - but the course of motherhood never did run smooth and Kate soon finds herself in circumstances way beyond her control.
The terrible twosome return for another burst of MTV-inspired comedy mayhem. It is now two years on, and the boys' cable show, now relocated to a nearby warehouse, is still doing well. However, when Wayne (Mike Myers) is visited by the ghost of Jim Morrison, he receives a new mission in life: he must now organise a massive rock festival - Waynestock. Meanwhile, his girlfriend Cassandra (Tia Carrere) seems to be interested in another slimy record producer (Christopher Walken), and his best friend Garth (Dana Carvey) is making romantic overtures towards sexy Honey Hornee (Kim Basinger).
Satirical survival-of-the-fittest teen comedy starring Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron, a pretty 15-year-old who has spent most of her life in the wilds of Africa being home-schooled by her zoologist parents. Her upbringing has taught her a lot about survival in the wilderness and the subtleties of animal behaviour, but nothing she has learned can prepare her for the unspoken social etiquette of a mid-American high school, where jocks, cheerleaders, stoners and cool kids jostle for popularity, and a clique of rich and popular girls known as 'the Plastics' rule the school. This group of alpha females, led by 'professional life-ruiner' Regina George (Rachel McAdams), is initially contemptuous of Cady but then accepts her as a new member. Cady, who in the meantime has become friends with punky misfits Janis and Damian, starts to get close to the 'mean girls', initially out of curiosity - but it isn't long before she's enjoying the buzz of being one of the most popular girls in the school. However, when she inadvertently crosses the line by going on a date with one of Regina's ex-boyfriends, the gorgeous Aaron (Jonathan Bennett), the Plastics go on the warpath, and Cady must pay for her initiation into their mean Plastic world.
