"So, you build dream homes, do you?" Ana said, looking directly into my eyes. I finally answered by simply saying 'one day, maybe.' "I already know what mine looks like," she said, smiling wistfully. "Really?" I sounded surprised, I hadn't meant to, I felt everyone knew what type of home their perfect or forever home would be. "Well yes, in a way, not so much the style of the house but I know it will be overlooking water. I love the sound of waves and the way water changes as the light changes, and the amount of nature you get around water," she replied animatedly. Ana was an amazing woman, and I just loved her outlook on life as much as I loved her. None of that had changed, even if Ana had. It would just take time, but I wasn't sure how much time I had or how I could reveal the secret I had been keeping from her.
