This book engages with the renewed focus on the centrality of
occupation in occupational therapy. It is informed by a subtle but
significant shift in thinking, towards a recognition that humans
are occupational beings, not merely that occupation is an important
part of human life. The emergence of this publication is therefore
timely amidst the debate on occupational science.
Butterfly Kisses: A Memoir chronicles the brief lifesong of my beautiful daughter and angel, Gabriella. Writing this was a cleansing, healing, and peaceful experience for me. It's my hope that I can bring the same to anyone who has survived the loss of a loved one. I just want to reach out and let someone with a similar heartache know they are only as alone as they choose to be.
