Three couples, one night. And the life that follows...
Eva looked out the attic window of their charming guest house and watched the sun rise. She thought she might be sick. Splayed on the lawn below was Frank, apparently out cold. Her husband snored in the bed behind her. She loved Shay, of course she did, but right now the only person she wanted to think about was Conor. She didn't want to think about Bea or Lizzie or what Lizzie might have got up to with Shay.
Frank's 48th birthday had given the three couples an excuse for a much needed night away from children, nagging bills and ailing parents. The drink flowed, life in Dublin with all its stress felt a long way away. When Frank proposed they swap partners, it felt deliciously, irresistibly reckless. One night. No obligations. No expectations. All the women had to do was text a man of their choice.
The only rule? No falling in love.
It was a night that some of them couldn't remember. And others couldn't forget.

Acutely perceptive, unequivocally funny and startlingly sincere, Hans Mackenzie Main presents a first unmissable collection of service provider correspondences and writings.
From fleeing a networking engagement to taking up residence in a lighthouse, from soft men to hard truths, Trust You’re Well covers topics both relatable and unheard of affording the world a first glimpse into the delightful inner-workings of a marvellously discontented consumer and correspondent. Here shopping habits, driving habits, recruitment practices and social media etiquette all come in for close scrutiny: inspected from a unique perspective that stands in stark contrast to the deeply humane and compassionate replies from everyday South Africans urging their compatriot to simply get on with it.
With the heartfelt frustration of a law-abiding citizen and the keen wit of a weathered civilian, Trust You’re Well is a joyfully cathartic purge of the highest satiric order that’s bound to leave you in tears.

The aim of this volume is to open up reflection on the nature of
vulnerability, the responsibilities owed to the vulnerable, who
bears these responsibilities, and how they are best fulfilled. In
canvassing responses to these questions, the contributors engage
with a range of ethical traditions and with issues in contemporary
political philosophy and bioethics. Some essays in the volume
explore the connections between vulnerability, autonomy, dignity,
and justice. Other essays engage with a feminist ethics of care to
articulate the relationship between vulnerability, dependence, and
care. These theoretical approaches are complemented by detailed
examination of vulnerability in specific contexts, including
disability; responsibilities to children; intergenerational
justice; and care of the elderly. The essays thus address
fundamental questions concerning our moral duties to each other as
individuals and as citizens. Contributing significantly to the
development of an ethics of vulnerability, this volume opens up
promising avenues for future research in feminist philosophy, moral
and political philosophy, and bioethics.

David MacKenzie directs this British drama in which a troubled
teenager and his father bond in the unusual surroundings of a
prison. 19-year-old Eric (Jack O'Connell) has had an extremely
difficult childhood. Taken into care after the death of his mother
and the sentencing of his father (Ben Mendelsohn), Eric's
subsequent struggles with authority are highlighted by the fact
that he has been 'starred up' from juvenile prison to the real
thing, despite his tender years. Eric is happy with the outcome,
though, as it gives him a chance to reconnect with his father and
to demonstrate his toughness. However, with certain prison wardens
not averse to using extreme violence to enforce order and protect
others, Eric may have to tread carefully and pay attention to the
calming words of his father if he is to make it out of the facility
in one piece.

The day that Christopher saved a drowning baby griffin from a hidden
lake would change his life forever.
It’s the day he learned about the Archipelago—a cluster of unmapped
islands where magical creatures of every kind have thrived for
thousands of years, until now. And it’s the day he met Mal—a girl on
the run, in desperate need of his help.
Mal and Christopher embark on a wild adventure, racing from island to
island, searching for someone who can explain why the magic is fading
and why magical creatures are suddenly dying. They consult sphinxes,
battle kraken, and negotiate with dragons. But the closer they get to
the dark truth of what’s happening, the clearer it becomes: no one else
can fix this. If the Archipelago is to be saved, Mal and Christopher
will have to do it themselves.
Katherine Rundell’s story crackles and roars with energy and delight.
It is brought vividly to life with more than 60 illustrations,
including a map and a bestiary of magical creatures.
