With only one more question to be asked, however, the dream turns to nightmare. As the hooter sounds to signal the end of the show, Jamal is arrested and accused of cheating.

The Garden State has made innumerable contributions to our nation's
military history, on both battlefield and homefront, but many of
those stories remain hidden within the larger national narrative.
Perhaps the most crucial one-day battle of the Revolution was
fought in Monmouth County, and New Jersey officers engineered the
conquest of California in the Mexican War. During the Civil War, a
New Jersey unit was instrumental in saving Washington, D.C., from
Confederate capture. In World War II, New Jersey women flocked to
war production factories and served in the armed forces, and a West
Orange girl helped ferry Spitfire fighters in England. War came
home to the coast in 1942 with the sinking of the SS "Resor" by a
German submarine, but the state's citizens reacted by contributing
everything they could to the war effort. Uncover these and other
stories from New Jersey's hidden wartime history.
From its humble beginnings as a place to swim and row a boat, Ideal
Beach eventually became Indiana Beach, a small amusement park where
families could have good old-fashioned fun. Founded by Earl
Spackman in 1926, its popularity was bolstered by the addition of a
dance hall that drew the top bands of the nation during the
Depression and war years of the 1940s. When Earl passed away, his
son Tom continued his legacy, setting Indiana Beach on a course
that would make it one of the most popular vacation resorts and
amusement parks in the entire Midwest, delighting nearly one
million visitors every year.

In Elizabethan England, political intrigue abounds as the Tudors and the Cecils battle it out over the succession of Queen Elizabeth I (Joely Richardson/Vanessa Redgrave), and the Essex Rebellion mobilises against her. Enter the dashing and wildly talented Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford (Jamie Campbell Bower/Rhys Ifans), who not only fathers an illegitimate son in a clandestine incestuous relationship with Queen Elizabeth, but is also the secret author of the plays labeled with the name of William Shakespeare (Rafe Spall).
Shakespeare in Love
Young Will Shakespeare is the up-and-coming playwright of the time but has been disastrously struck by the bane of the writer's life - writer's block. His comedy "Romeo and Ethel the Pirate's Daughter" is not going anywhere and the playhouse is under threat of closure. What Will needs is a muse - and she appears in the form of the beautiful (and betrothed) Lady Viola. The path of true love doesn't run smooth for Will, however - Viola is engaged to be married to the insufferable Lord Wessex at the command of Queen Elizabeth. The joys and tragedy of his own life soon find their way onto the page in a moving, witty and spellbinding tale.

Lyn Madden worked for twenty years as a prostitute, mostly in
Dublin. Her career ended the night that she watched, her lover and
pimp, John Cullen throw a firebomb through the window of a house,
where former prostitute Dolores Lynch lived. Dolores, who had
'escaped' from prostitution some years previously, perished along
with her elderly mother and aunt. That murder shocked Lyn out of
her dependence on Cullen and enabled her to summon up the courage
necessary to denounce him to the police. Cullen was given a life
sentence and an 18-year sentence, the second of which he has
completed. He has applied for temporary release, but authorities
refused it. Here, in Lyn's own voice, she starts her story being
escorted by two plain-clothes police officers up the gangplank to
the ferry, fleeing Ireland in the hope of a safer future. Lyn's
journey to safety is one that never is truly realized as her
enemies, ex-lovers, abusers and demons continue to haunt her and
threaten the livelihood of her and her children. But through it
all, Lyn undergoes an impressive evolution from working the streets
to becoming a contributing member of society and even holding down
a meaningful job. Lyn pursues therapy, education and learns after
many wrong starts to finally choose healthier relationships. It is
a wonderful coming-of-age story of a woman who gets a chance later
in life to try to put herself on a better course away from the
world of crime and exploitation. Though her path is riddled with
bad choices and abusive men whose violence is terrifying her basic
spirit is never dimmed. We get to know a Lyn that takes enormous
pleasure in the simple things of life while surviving seemingly
unbearable abuse and tragedy. Readers who have read the first book
will not be disappointed with the sequel, it's full of excitement
and insight into the lives of the walking wounded.
