The AVEC symposium is a leading international conference in the
fields of vehicle dynamics and advanced vehicle control, bringing
together scientists and engineers from academia and automotive
industry. The first symposium was held in 1992 in Yokohama, Japan.
Since then, biennial AVEC symposia have been established
internationally and have considerably contributed to the progress
of technology in automotive research and development. In 2016 the
13th International Symposium on Advanced Vehicle Control (AVEC'16)
was held in Munich, Germany, from 13th to 16th of September 2016.
The symposium was hosted by the Munich University of Applied
Sciences. AVEC'16 puts a special focus on automatic driving,
autonomous driving functions and driver assist systems, integrated
control of interacting control systems, controlled suspension
systems, active wheel torque distribution, and vehicle state and
parameter estimation. 132 papers were presented at the symposium
and are published in these proceedings as full paper contributions.
The papers review the latest research developments and practical
applications in highly relevant areas of vehicle control, and may
serve as a reference for researchers and engineers.
The IAVSD Symposium is the leading international conference in the
field of ground vehicle dynamics, bringing together scientists and
engineers from academia and industry. The biennial IAVSD symposia
have been held in internationally renowned locations. In 2015 the
24th Symposium of the International Association for Vehicle System
Dynamics (IAVSD) was held in Graz, Austria, from 17th to 21st of
August 2015. The symposium was hosted by VIRTUAL VEHICLE Research
Center, in cooperation with the Graz and Vienna Universities of
Technology, and the industrial partners AVL, Magna Steyr, and
Siemens. 170 papers (oral and poster presentations) were presented
at the symposium and the papers are now published in these
proceedings. The papers review the latest research developments and
practical applications in highly relevant areas of vehicle dynamics
on roads and tracks, and may serve as a reference for researchers
and engineers active in the field of vehicle system dynamics.
Das Buch gibt Studierenden der Technischen Wissenschaften die
Moglichkeit, sicheren Umgang mit der Anwendung theoretischen
Grundlagenwissens aus Statik und Festigkeitslehre auf konkrete
Aufgabenstellungen zu erwerben und Fertigkeiten zu vertiefen.
Diesem Ziel dienen die ausfuhrlichen Losungen der Beispiele, in die
neben dem reinen Rechengang viele Hinweise zur praktischen
Vorgehensweise, ausfuhrliche Interpretationen der Ergebnisse und
zusatzliche Erlauterungen an Stellen aufgenommen wurden, die den
Studierenden erfahrungsgemass oft Probleme bereiten. Zur
Vervollstandigung ist weiters eine Kurzzusammenstellung der
benotigten Grundbegriffe und Formeln enthalten. Damit geht das Buch
weit uber eine gewohnliche Aufgaben/Losungs-Sammlung hinaus und
bietet eine in sich abgeschlossene Grundlage zur optimalen
Begleitung von Lehrveranstaltungen, zur Prufungsvorbereitung sowie
fur das Selbststudium."
