A collection of poetry with powerful messages, such as love and
mercy, as expressed in "A Book of Deeds," the theme of cover art:
"I held in my hands a book of deeds--
And every page was bare;
God had blessed me abundantly;
Yet, I had none to share...
I fell to my knees--
And I cried in shame,
"Oh God, Oh God,
Am I somehow to blame?
I did an assessment of my life--
And I began to rearrange;
I did all I could possibly do,
And I prayed for God to make the change..."

A 2014 Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor Book
A dog with a ball is one of the most relentlessly hopeful
creatures on Earth. After his best little-girl pal leaves for
school, this dog hits up yoga mom, baby, and even the angry cat for
a quick throw. No luck. Forced to go solo, the dog begins a
hilarious one-sided game of fetch until naptime's wild,
ball-centric dream sequence. The pictures speak a thousand words in
this comic book-style ode to canine monomania. Ball? Ball.
Max is planning a big surprise for Mother's Day, but he needs Zoe's
help. If everything goes as planned, this could be the best
Mother's Day ever!

"THE CAVE" Bob and Megan are in love, and avid cave divers. To
celebrate their marriage, they decide to go cave diving with
friends to an unexplored underwater cave Bob discovered. But when a
fellow diver's prank turns into a tragic disaster, Bob, Megan, and
their best friend Sara find themselves lost in a nightmarish
network of underwater tunnels. With their air running out, they
wash up on the shores of an underground lake, where a tribe of
Neanderthals mistake their human visitors for gods. Escaping the
cave, the three friends discover a clan of early humans. And so
begins an epic quest for survival, in an untamed land where three
unprepared individuals have to confront their primal essence in
order to make it out alive. And a world in which they might not
survive. "THE CAVE" is packed in profound moral questions, romance,
murder, cannibalism, and time travel. It is an adventure tale that
will curl your toes, a heart-pounding nightmare of being the hunted
in an alien environment, and a courageous story of life, death,
desperation, and human triumph. ForeWordReview Three Stars (out of
Five) Jay Londo, the author of several novels, should be commended
for attempting an epic tale of desperation and triuph. His subject
matter covers such disparate topics as insurance fraud, romance,
cave diving, early human existence, hunting, and time travel. Londo
shows talent for developing and managing an extended plot that
covers many years and many miles. Andi Diehn "Bob and Megan feel
certain they are embarking on a life long journey of happiness.
They are in love, and they have enough money to buy a house on
Lopez Island in the Puget Sound area of Washington state. Even
though mere days seperated the time the couple met and when they
married, they believe that they are on the right path. But before
they move into their new home, they must go on more dives with
their friends. The vast, underwater cave that Bob discovered off
the West Coast a few days before they met is too tempting to leave
unexplored. Unexplored. Un fortunately, a fellow diver's prank
turns into a tragic disaster when Bob, Megan, and her best friend,
Sara, find themselves lost in an extensivenetwork of underwater
tunnels, rivers, and waterfalls. Luckily, before their air runs
out, theywash up on the shores of an underground lake, where after
some exploration, they find a tribe of Neanderthals who mistake
their humanvisitors for gods. And so begins thefriends' education
in savagery, early animal husbandry, and survival.
"ALONE IN THE WOODS" Marty, an expectant father, embarks on a
fishing trip to the Alaskan wilderness with his oldest and closest
friends. As the men journey into the remotest parts of the Alaskan
wild, Marty finds himself alone in the woods. Suddenly, he is
thrust into a savage land, struggling to survive against the
elements of nature. Hunted by grizzly bears, plagued with injuries,
and riddled by doubt, Marty slowly sees his own humanity stripped
away in an epic battle to stay alive. "Alone in the Woods" is a
suspenseful adventure story that will bring you face-to-face with
the wild side of human nature. Brutal but inspiring, "Alone in the
Woods" is a novel that will stay with you long after you finish the
journey. ForeWord Clarion Review FICTION Three Stars (out of Five)
The subject matter is undeniably gripping. The ending of Alone in
the Woods is unexpected and well worth waiting for, both mystical
and inspirational. londo writes about the wilderness as someone whe
has been there, making us feel Marty's fear and exalt in his small
victories. Barbara Scott
