This book constitutes the proceedings of the Second International Conference on Cloud, Networking for IoT Systems, CN4IoT 2017, and the Second EAI International Conference on ICT Infrastructures and Services for Smart Cities, IISSC 2017, held in Brindisi, Italy, in April 2017. The 26 full papers of both conferences were selected from 39 submissions. CN4IoT presents research activities on the uniform management and operation related to software defined infrastructures, in particular by analyzing limits or advantages in solutions for Cloud Networking and IoT. IISSC papers focus on ICT infrastructures (technologies, models, frameworks) and services in cities and smart communities.

The two-volume set LNICST 169 and 170 constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the Second International Internet of Things Summit, IoT 360 Degrees 2015, held in Rome, Italy, in October 2015. The IoT 360 Degrees is an event bringing a 360 degree perspective on IoT-related projects in important sectors such as mobility, security, healthcare and urban spaces. The conference also aims to coach involved people on the whole path between research to innovation and the way through to commercialization in the IoT domain. This volume contains the technical papers presented in the workshops, which took place at the 7th European Conference on Service-Oriented and Cloud Computing, ESOCC 2018, held in Como, Italy, in September 2018:Joint Cloudways and OptiMoCS Workshop; 14th International Workshop on Engineering Service-Oriented Applications and Cloud Services. Additionally the papers from ESOCC 2018 PhD Symposium and ESOCC 2018 EU Projects Track were included in the volume. The 22 full papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 34 submissions. The papers focus on specific topics in service-oriented and cloud computing domains such as limits and/or advantages of existing cloud solutions, future internet technologies, efficient and adaptive deployment and management of service-based applications across multiple clouds, novel cloud service migration practices and solutions, digitization of enterprises in the cloud computing era, federated cloud networking services.
