A humorous and clever picture book about the importance of sharing
big feelings with a trusted friend. Fish and Crab are best friends,
always there for each other. When it's time for bed, Crab is ready
to go to sleep, but Fish is still wide awake, wondering: What is
that noise-that ooh, ooh ? What if aliens abduct us as we sleep?
What if it rains frogs? What if . . . so many things?! From
Marianna Coppo, the critically-acclaimed author of Petra, Such a
Good Boy, and A Brave Cat, comes an unforgettable picture book
about the friendship between two very different aquarium
inhabitants. At once relatable and reassuring, Fish and Crab shows
the youngest of readers that it is okay to embrace the full
spectrum of our feelings-not just at bedtime, but anytime . And
that even the biggest worries and "what ifs" are easier to cope
with-and move on from-when someone you love and trust is there to
listen.
A hilarious exploration of grumpiness: this is a book for any child
who has ever woken up to find everything unreasonably annoying.
Today is a terrible day for Wolfie: it's cloudy (there is a single
cloud), the water in the bubble bath is ice cold, there aren't
enough chocolate chips in the cookies and everyone else is having a
nice day (lucky them). No one understands Wolfie at school. But
then Penguin comes along... and she does understand. Suddenly
things start to get a whole lot better. This is a story
about how when you're feeling misunderstood, sometimes all it takes
to change your perspective completely, is a like-minded friend. A
wonderful, and relatable story about the loneliness that comes with
feeling grumpy and how a friend can give a rain cloud day, a sunny
new spin. Funny for both children and adults alike - while
children will delight at the funny dissonance between text and
image, the parents will recognise the all too relatable tale of
out-of-proportion toddler grumpiness.Â
Lift the flaps for a highly amusing hide-and-seek game! Randolph
isn't very good at hide-and-seek, and where he thinks are the best
hiding places will have young readers squeal with delight as they
lift the flaps to find him. Where's Randolph? is an irresistible
board book; children will want to play hide-and-seek with Randolph
again and again! • Fun family read-aloud books • Books for
children aged 0 to 3 • Books for toddlers and preschool children

Olivia is an indoor cat - a brave adventurer, a tireless traveler,
and a fearless explorer who is never afraid. From hunting fierce
shoelaces to climbing all the way to the top of the bookcase,
Olivia has always been able to count on her bravery. But will it be
enough to help her face the big, uncertain world outside her home?
From Marianna Coppo, the critically acclaimed author of PETRA and
SUCH A GOOD BOY, comes a charming picture book about the life of a
cat: its ups and downs and sometimes-surprising in-betweens. At
once relatable and illuminating, this story takes the youngest of
readers straight into the mind of a cat! What may seem quiet and
subdued from the outside is in fact an emotionally rich existence
filled with likes and dislikes, adventures and misadventures,
challenges and fears. Featuring whimsical, color-drenched art and
warm, thoughtful prose, this uplifting book proves that courage is
not the absence of fear - courage is believing in yourself, no
matter what.
An offbeat story about adventure and creativity featuring a cast of quirky self aware picture book characters.
Have you ever opened a book, only to discover that the characters inside already know they're inside of one? All that's left for them to do now is wait for the story to arrive, but it's certainly taking its time in getting here. This cleverly self-aware, interactive picture book, loosely based on Waiting For Godot, introduces a charming cast of characters illustrated in Marianna Coppo's quirky and delicate style. Young readers will learn that instead of waiting around for stories to happen, they should go out into the world and create their own! Perfect for fans of The Monster at the End of this Book and The Book with No Pictures.
