This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 11th IFIP WG 8.1 Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling held in October/November 12018 in Vienna, Austria. The conference was created by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Working Group 8.1 to offer a forum for knowledge transfer and experience sharing between the academic and practitioner communities. The 21 full papers and 5 short papers accepted were carefully reviewed and selected from 64 submissions. They are grouped by the following topics: business process modeling, model derivation; collaboration modeling; reviews and analyses of modeling methods; semantics and reasoning, experience reports; and teaching challenges.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed short papers, workshops and doctoral consortium papers of the 21th European Conference on Advances in Databases and Information Systems, ADBIS 2017, held in Nicosia, Cyprus, in September 2017. The 25 full and 4 short workshop papers and the 12 short papers of the main conference were carefully reviewed and selected from 160 submissions. This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed short papers, workshops and Doctoral Consortium papers of the 20th East European Conference on Advances in Databases and Information Systems, ADBIS 2016, held in Prague, Czech Republic, in August 2016. The 11 short papers and one historical paper were carefully selected and reviewed from 85 submissions. The rest of papers was selected from reviewing processes of 2 workshops and Doctoral Consortium. The papers are organized in topical sections on ADBIS Short Papers, Third International Workshop on Big Data Applications and Principles (BigDap 2016), Second International Workshop on Data Centered Smart Applications (DCSA 2016) and ADBIS Doctoral Consortium.

This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 6th IFIP WG 8.1 Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling held in November 2013 in Riga, Latvia. The focus of the PoEM conference series is on advances in the practice of enterprise modeling through a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector.

The 19 papers accepted were carefully reviewed and selected from 80 submissions. They reflect different topics of enterprise modeling including quality of models, change management and transformation, approaches and tools for agility and flexibility, enterprise modeling and business processes, enterprise modeling and information systems and enterprise modeling cases. Additionally, one of the two keynotes is also included in this volume.

This book is the result of the 11 th International Conference on Information Systems Development -Methods and Tools, Theory and Practice, held in Riga, Latvia, September 12-14,2002. The purpose of this conference was to address issues facing academia and industry when specifying, developing, managing, reengineering and improving information systems. Recently many new concepts and approaches have emerged in the Information Systems Development (ISD) field. Various theories, methodologies, methods and tools available to system developers also created new problems, such as choosing the most effective approach for a specific task, or solving problems of advanced technology integration into information systems. The 11th International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD'02) continues the tradition started with the first Polish-Scandinavian Seminar on Current Trends in Information Systems Development Methodologies, held in Gdansk, Poland in 1988. Through the years this Seminar has evolved into the International Conference on Information Systems Development. ISD'02 is the first ISD conference held in Eastern Europe, namely, in Latvia, one of the three Baltic countries.

The 31 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 236 submissions.
