The opera tells the story of the tempestuous relationship between the naive Tatiana (Netrebko), the hot-blooded Onegin (Kwiecien) and his bitter rival Lenski (Beczala). Valery Gergiev, Artistic Director of the Mariinsky Theatre in Russia, conducts.
